A/N: midterms are finally over, which means Christmas is officially in full swing! last year, my sister and i watched Dash and Lily, a Netflix original about two teens falling in love via notebook in NYC. as i rewatched it this july, i thought, “this would be even cuter if it was klaine.” and so i wrote exactly that!

summary:

Imagine you’re in New York and it’s Christmas. You’re surrounded by people, by possibility…and the hope that somewhere in the city, is that one person that’s meant for you. You just have to find them. How do you do that? It all depends on the kind of person you are.

“I don’t want to live anymore.”

No matter who’s lips those words were to come from, they should never be taken lightly. Especially when they were said like that. Taking a drag from his cigarette, Pete exhaled with a sigh, trying to process this.

“Why?” He asked, figuring that it would be a good place to start. “Why don’t you want to live anymore, Mike?”

Sucking in a deep breath, Mike raised his hand and knocked on Kyle's door. He gripped the opening of his coat closer to his body. What the hell was he even doing? God this was so stupid. Kyle was going to laugh so hard at him. He was really starting to think about running away from here. Mike glanced up at the door then to his feet. If he was gonna run now was the time. ((hey hi just wanted to bug u n ur kyle ;3))

He wasn’t exactly inside his body at that moment. No, instead, Kyle was drifting, so wrapped up inside his head that he didn’t notice what was going on around him. The knock at the door was loud enough that it pulled him back, and Kyle was irritated, almost angry. He reluctantly got up, irritation rising as he walked to the door and then pulled it open. “What.” he said flatly, eyeing Mike cautiously.
