Icarus Sustrai (Emerald and Weiss' son)
Niko Ren-Arc-Valkyrie (Paws' partner)
and Karmine Adel-Scarlatina (Icarus' partner)
Niko's semblance is the ability to share emotions (so he can calm down his teammates or civilians etc, though it extends to All emotions). He tends to be the voice of reason in the group! But also he is Nora's son. If his team is getting into shenanigans, he is there and no one will stop him. He uses a Halberd! His colour is like...peach <3
Icarus got the Schnee semblance! He uses this power for evil (/j). Why would he need a vehicle when he can just ride his summon into Vale??? He buys literally everything for the group before they can even ask. Oh Karmine you wanted new boots? Here you go here's 7 pairs. Paws you're taking commissions?? I want a new tattoo, here's a 150 lien tip. no that's not too much. Also he just. gives money away basically. Venus mentioned she wanted to buy Lila a new skateboard and he did the Remnant equivalent of Venmoing her like 50 bucks. He's gay. He loves men. He would like a boyfriend please. His colour is mint but on the more blue end of it. He uses a Sickle Glaive which looks like this:
Karmine's Semblance i havent actually worked out yet but she's a gay ass homosexual woman. She loves women. She wears platform Docs with her school uniform. She's 5'11 and wears 6 inch platform Docs. She is a rabbit Faunus but her Faunus trait is rabbit feet. She will kick the shit out of you. i think her weapon will have to do with her legs. actual gunboots perhaps? Her colour is dark purple! I'm gonna give her a girlfriend. She and Icarus are wlw/mlm solidarity.
They're a fairly well-balanced team, especially with the ranged abilities of Icarus' semblance! Niko and Paws may be dating at some point. Maybe. Also Paws has sectoral heterochromia and while xyr silver eye powers work, it actively hurts xem to use, so xe only uses them in emergencies. Xe nearly blinded xyrself when Karmine went down in the field. The entire team is very close! They love each other.
Now team SFRN (saffron) is comprised of
Skye Wukong-Vasilias (Leader)
Fallow Xiao Long-Amitola (Yang and Ilia's son. Yes I changed this from my original plan I just love salamander so much...)
Venus Belladonna-Rose (Skye's partner)
Nova Black (Neo and Mercury's daughter, Fallow's partner)
Fallow's Faunus trait is the same as his mother's (changing colours) (though he can change his eyes independently through influence from Yang's residual magic)! He uses he/she pronouns and she uses a pair of short swords. Her Semblance is gonna be something to do with energy absorption i think. He has black hair naturally but has honed her Faunus trait to the point where he can have whatever hair colour she wishes at any time. He favours pink. Her colour is golden brown!
Nova is a bit of a mystery to her new team. She doesn't speak much (though she isn't mute) and has a tendency to stay to herself. This is incredibly hard on Fallow especially who feels like his partner doesn't like her at all. This isn't true, though! Nova actually thinks he's pretty cool! She uses throwing knives imbued with different types of Dust. By the time they reach the end of their first year, Nova is the most fiercely loyal part of their team! Her colour is dark pink. I'm not sure about her Semblance either but I do want it to be something like light refraction?
Beyond that, they're a pretty good team! Venus, Skye, and Fallow have known each other since they were kids and have trained together for a long time. Nova is the only truly 'ranged' fighter they have, so they tend to protect her while they fight. Also they have team attacks! Nova and Venus is the main one I've come up with. Venus applies her Semblance to Nova's knives in order to take down big Grimm.
