Daughter of an Antivan Crow formerly of House Dellamorte and a few potential fathers (ie Zevran Arainai, Prince Fulgeno Campana, and the Head of House Velardo), youngest of a set of triplets, widow of the late Queen of Rivain, and eventual wife of Lucanis Dellamorte and Kian Mercar, son of Charon Mercar. Nöa is a fiery blood mage with a ravenous, killer wit, and a mind to rival that of her Dread Wolf of a grandfather. So much so that she may or may not be the “Doom Upon All the World” the Chant warns about...
Casanova “Nova” Revas Prospero Costa Volkarin-Dellamorte

A Crow with what might be a literal heart of gold. Nova is Nöa’s older brother, their mother’s third child and second son after Viago. Though he originally intended to join the Mourn Watch with his sister, he opted to stay in Antiva and help their mother establish her cuchillo, eventually becoming her Guildmaster after their House was promoted to Talon following the betrayal of Emil Kortez. This decision to become a Crow also came on the heels of Nöa being forced to stay in Antiva due to Caterina’s politicking.
Nova was born intersex, preferring male pronouns while maintaining the opposite anatomy. He ends up becoming Talon after his mother retires, and in a true odd couple scenario, winds up married to and having children with Illario Dellamorte.
Like his mother, he’s a warrior, and he’s not afraid to remind you who trained him.
Queen Mother Ellendara “Dara” Adeyemi of Rivain
Nöa’s first spouse, her wife, Queen Mother of Rivain. Dara and Nöa were truly childhood friends destined for one another, despite Nöa’s standing engagement to the future First Talon. Dara faced her life head on with tenacity and bravery, even after the events of Dairsmuid nearly left her Tranquil—were it not for Nöa.
As a transgender woman with eyes on her mother’s throne, her biggest hurdle was her inability to carry children, and a terrible lack of interest for any man to also have to share her with another woman. Nöa challenged the contract, getting pregnant with Dara’s first child, allowing them to get engaged—a match Caterina Dellamorte could not refute. Nöa’s pregnancy would end in twins, though Dara would be killed in a coup the night of their births, alongside the rest of her family. Nöa would barely survive the attack, and their second daughter was cut from her and believed dead for years. In truth, she was abducted by Zara Renata, and raised in Tevinter, though one day Nöa would reunite with her.
Kian Mercar (MacLeich)
Kian is actually my best friend’s initial Rook, a shared brain child that came along with the rest of our shared world state. Originally, he was meant to die, and he was not supposed to get with Nöa or Lucanis. But look at that face.
The brother of the Inquisition’s Head Medic, Kian was adopted by Charon Mercar after his family sent him to the Circle when his magic manifested—eventually losing contact with him and believing him dead after Kinloch.
Kian moved from a few different locales before ending up serving in the military alongside his adoptive father. From there, he joined the efforts of the Shadow Dragons. To this end, he was assigned to bartend a front owned by the Shadows known as Somniari’s Nightcap. He was happy with the work, content with his life…and then a very scrappy elven woman without any memories of her life before walked into his life and his bar, escorted by Tarquin, to play the part of his wife.
He never would have suspected they would develop real feelings, let alone that he would someday meet her second spouse/first husband, Lucanis Dellamorte, and fall for him, too. But he wouldn’t trade a life with them and their tiny army of children for anything.
I know I already made a whole fic post and everything but I want to get back into more casually discussing my thoughts and feelings about the series and characters I enjoy, among other important personal topics I'd like to ramble about somewhere down the line, so here goes nothing
It's hard to state just how wild it really is to me that I've been playing Genshin for so long, and I continue to enjoy it despite it's many many MANY flaws, but the aspects of it that provide me adventure and mystery and a home are just...they're enough to keep me coming back despite the predatory monetization and the frustrating executive and assorted other administrative and technological bullshit they continue to put players through, like the disaster that is miliastra w0nderland, just keep developing your base game that people love!! I'm putting my character into the game through the sheer willpower of my creativity and my friends added ideas, I don't need your discount self insert mode minigame pull slop...
But I didn't make this post to complain about hoyo and their many flaws as a company and product producer, instead I just wanted to gush about how much I love it and how much I love Zhongli. I may make a couple mentions and references to Neuvillette as well, I missed our anniversary this year and they both have bdays this month, so this month is still kind of all about them together anyway...but today is supposed to be Zhongli's Day so let's just get into it properly, 2 paragraphs later...
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ZHONGLI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got into Genshin back when it first launched in 2020, and I'm sure if you're alive now and capable of reading this post you understand just how different of a time it was, or what we were kind of on the cusp of as a society. I genuinely wasn't interested in getting involved in a gacha game that involved gambling so heavily in the first place and had it being the central mechanic for a main portion of the game, because I have an intensely addictive personality and I'm very aware of this about myself because it scares me so much. But I was (as it seems I perpetually am at this point) at a not great place in my life, I was intensely into this older anime (ouchies...) known as Darker than Black, cannot recommend it highly enough but only the first season and the OVAs, even though the second season makes some absolutely wild choices, they were certainly not for the best.
But I digress, I only mention Darker than Black because the main character that I started selfshipping with very seriously at the time, Hei or Li Shenshun or the Black Reaper whatever name you happen to know him by, became a huge support and comfort for me as f/os pretty much always do, that's a significant portion of their purpose for meeting me after all :3 but I got to marriage status with him and got into the routine of daydreaming him around a lot, and I couldn't help but notice and start to research some things about Chinese traditions and stuff since Hei is explicitly Chinese and gets some shit for it in the show, but it only made me more curious to investigate things further and also I really really loved him a lot (and still do, he's still on my main list even if I don't find as much time to talk about him nowadays...)
All of that set up is to say, Zhongli immediately stood out to me as a character based on his design and the fact that he was from fantasy China alongside a few of the rumors I was hearing about him and from the story before release and before I'd really decided to download it and get involved.
physically my type: tall, dark, and handsome, well groomed, somewhat effeminate but still projecting a masculine vibe I'm attracted to, golden eyes and accents in his hair and throughout his whole outfit, fully covered up, very layered and elegant clothing, hair cut styled in a way that's very attractive to me with the bangs and everything, even his ponytail with the little gem hair tie...and lots of neat accessories that only add to the intrigue of his look
emotionally my type: educated, somewhat aloof, sincere and earnest with those he genuinely cherishes and cares about especially once you get to know him, cherishes and cares deeply not just about those close to him but about the world he inhabits and how he affects that world, well traveled, interested in other cultures while also respecting and upholding traditions that are important to him, open minded despite being ancient and understanding the merit of the past, depressed and used to losing things that are dear to him but appreciates the good times he was capable of having at all
narratively my type: a fallen god struggling to find his place in the world after the nation he once counseled grows beyond said counsel and he's proud of them for that growth, enigmatic but still know just enough to be endearing and interesting, has a bunch of cool and defensive aligned powers that have neat aesthetics and line up with my general healer role in my head, shows up when you least expect it but also where it makes sense for him in the story, like not letting Xiao throw his life away during that one event, or hiding from Neuvillette and having a few scenes with Hu Tao during her main quest in lantern rite but he doesn't try to take on her duties for her, despite knowing he could...but even back years before all of the Hu Tao stuff and saving Xiao we just had him interacting with both of them in a caring and doting manner despite his standing and some of the things he put Xiao through but Xiao agreed to them as a soldier and favor to the man that saved him and I just HRHIHROWAR GRAAAHAWHHFWEHA

So after the final leaks were out about him potentially being a dragon/part dragon and his true nature as the Archon of Liyue that faked his own death for reasons we still didn't understand at the time because the entire story wasn't released yet (man those early leaks really did go crazy before hoyo figured out how to get a better lock on them...) I was just pretty much done for after those details came out orz
With Hei still in hand I went diving headfirst into Genshin 5 years ago and I put my everything into farming everything I could for Zhongli as soon as he came out, he was my first 5 star, probably the first character I ever triple crowned, I mean it when I say he never leaves my team even now, in the present, when he's considered dead and buried in practically every meta category that exists...
But I have him at c4 and he keeps me alive and I gave him Staff of Homa so sometimes his ult does over 100k damage...and that's all for me, he does all of that work with that big ol' meteor he drops just for his delicate doting little shooting star kitty cat that's feral and obsessed with him.
I have more I can say about our relationship and more in depth emotional discussion I'd like to go into, not just regarding Zhongli but I'd like to talk about my journey assimilating Neuvillette into the fold (and potentially realizing I'm poly, at least in instances similar to this?) and just more in depth commentary about other quests and characters and lore, because I've lived and breathed this game for a while, and as a result I end up having a lot to say about it. But I don't want to get any more off track than I already have where this Zhongli anniversary post is concerned, so I'll try to wrap it up.
Zhongli is one of my undisputed soulmates and loves of my life. He showed up in my life at an unexpected time, I fully didn't intend to get as attached as I have, and I never expected him to support and encourage me and bring me as much happiness as he has, either. A dragon and a god twisting in the wind facing his own shortcomings and mortality, his own journey to embracing what it means to be alive and what it means to have connections with the people around you, all different kinds, all of them essential and complementary to one another. Finding family outside the traditional boundaries while making peace with the parts you need, reinvesting yourself and finding ways to be okay with transforming and leaving old parts of yourself and your life behind so you can continue existing in the now, no matter how many or what kind of hardships you face.
Zhongli is my rock. He is my solace, and my strength. He is one of my most very important loves, and I'm so grateful for his kindness and his lessons and his patience and his beauty and his charm and just his existence in general. I love Zhongli so so so so so much.
Set 3 Years Post Predacons Rising & 1 Month post RID15 Finale
[A Personal Rewrite/AU Of the TFP Kids Post TFP/RID]
Jasper, Nevada has become a quiet place for Jack, Miko and Rafael after their final goodbye with team Prime, and with Ratchet, when word that the Medic was needed reached their comms.
For the next 3 years, it was relative radio silence. No news from Cybertron, though they tried to reach out. They sent so many transmissions to their friends, yet not a single one returned to them.
Almost as if something blocked them from them, like something didn't want them in contact.
So, in the absence of their friends, their robotic family they had loved so much, the trio of kids put their all into making them proud.
They spent every day they could at Hangar E, and every year, on the anniversary of their departure, they would visit the old Outpost Omega-1.
They would hold hope for their friends to reach out, someday.
They had to...right?

Miko dove head first into combat training, thanks to some strings pulled by Agent Fowler. When she wasn't sparring on a mat with her teachers, she was in the hangar, cheered on by Raf and Jack as she learned to translate those moves into the Apex Armor.
After some convincing too, of her parents when she turned 18, and some more strings pulled by Fowler, Miko made the base her home, and lived in Jasper full time. She'd even had her cats brought over from Japan, a fact that made her stay in the hangar less lonely, though she'd spent many dinners at Raf and Jack's homes regardless.
She'd trained her abilities in battle to a fine tuned machine, hoping for the chance to make Bulkhead proud when he walked through the groundbridge someday. Even took to a video diary, to catch him up on everything that had happened since they'd left Earth.

Rafael excelled in his studies to little surprise of many of the others in his presence. The young boy seemed to have matured overnight, and after a letter from Fowler to some colleagues in some colleges, Raf was skipped up a few grades, and was even taking some college courses online, to further his computing knowhow.
Taking up robotics as a hobby mostly, Rafael upkept the remaining Cybertronian tech left by their robotic team members. He remembered every lesson from Ratchet, and from the many times he also tried to help with Bee's voice box, so it was of little surprise to the team when Raf not only upkept but upgraded their base's tech.
No better wifi could be found in Jasper, and access to every show they wanted was at their fingertips.
Still, Raf missed Bee, especially after seeing every transmission they sent go unanswered. His best friend had promised to visit, to write them back, call...had...he forgotten them?
He hoped not. Raf could never forget the scout, the one who'd help Raf find his own voice, among the chaos of his own home and family life.

Jack changed the most and the least at the same time. He was still a gentle and quiet soul, but he was fiercely protective now, of Miko and Raf. He dove into his studies, and even skipped a grade, to the surprise of his mother. Studying under her even, Jack learned medical care for his loved ones behalf, especially with all the bruises Miko returned with after her sparring lessons.
He joined, once in a while, when he had the energy to, but his energy had shifted to making sure both of his teammates were ok.
For his 18th birthday, his mother surprised him with a real motorcycle of his own, after seeing how much he missed Arcee and their rides around Jasper.
And Agent Fowler, who had begun dating June at this point, helped hook up Jack with a job alongside him, mainly harmless paperwork, but it would pay better than slinging burgers at KO Drive Inn did, which he appreciated.
His free time was often spent fixing up his bike, and riding out far, along the routes him and Arcee would take.
He really hoped their messages would reach them someday.

Takes place 1yr after the ending of RID15/it's finale
June and Fowler got married by the time Jack is 19, which Jack actually was happy about, even if it shocked him a good bit at the start that they did begin to date.
Rafael has been checking every cryptid sighting website he used to, searching for any hint that Team Prime has come back.
Knockout has been, unbeknownst to Cybertronians and humans alike, been sneaking to Earth via rogue groundbridge of his own. It was where he lost Breakdown, and he continues to race still there [Yes this is bc of RID's use of his car model]
The kids came into contact with the Rescue Bots at some point, and they too have had issues contacting Cybertron, something that they tried to work on together but it did little in the end.
The 'Autobot' High Council had put a ban on travel to Earth, and had erased the coordinates from most databanks, as well as disrupting transmission from the kids to team Prime.
Crown City is located California for this AU
Outpost Omega-1 has been abandoned yes,the kids mainly use Hangar E, but regularly visit the old base since it's destruction.

I still remember what I looked like before I got arc'd, but I also have pictures and stuff from then... but just in general, I remember what I looked like
I found out that Honkai: Star Rail is going to be on Playstation (which is my main gaming platform), so needless to say, I am EXTREMELY excited.
The one (1) thing I'm worried about is that I'm kinda hit or miss with turn based games. The only one I can say that I've at least somewhat enjoyed was Knights Chronicles, but I feel like that was mostly because I liked the characters.
I really think that Star Rail can keep my attention well, but I'm just more of an open world type of person I feel.
I saw a post about you being “chaotic” and having casual relationships with the goetics and i’ve been heavily researching and still havent come to a clear conclusion, but im chaotic too so i figure ill ask you. What is the most respectful/simple way to invoke/summon them? I know not to use the trad. goetia method bc thats disrespectful. I’ve read Demonolatry Goetia by S. The most basic method of invoking is to focus on their sigil and chant their enn (like a phone number to a specific demon). If it’s your first time, it’s highly recommended to have an offering prepared for them. It’s also generally respectful to have a specific reason for summoning them and not summon them “just because” unless you have a close relationship with them. I did not follow any of this advice but that’s because my fiancé, a demonolator of several years, is the one who got me into it and had me invoking demons he already had relationships with. Earth, with its vast biomes and diverse terrains, has a variety of weather patterns that can change drastically from day to day, and have particular seasons with which they are often divided.
This has also been the cause of …particular issues for the newcomer Cybertronian, as the climate can have adverse effects on our biomechanics.
As a gentle reminder, please be sure to thank your medic when leaving the med bay after repairs.A bottle or two of high-grade Energon also goes a long way.
Divided into the Northern and Southern hemispheres, Earth cycles through 4 seasons, each with their own type of weather.
The four seasons by which the planet goes through, as labeled as:
Spring : Temperate to warm weather, usually brings the thawing of winter and replenishing of flora and fauna alike.
Summer: The warmest of the seasons, the planting of crops and their growth occurs here, as well as many an activity in the sun
Fall or Autumn: Harvest season, known to be the beginning of a cooling in the weather and when most flora experience a change in color to prepare for the next season.
Winter: The coldest of the seasons, this season is also known as the ‘holiday season’ due to many Earth holidays occurring during the jours, or rather, Terran months it overlaps.
These seasons last roughly 3 months each, but due to changes in the Earth’s ozone layer in a phenomenon known as ‘global warming’, which has caused quite severe changes to the climate of Earth in some places.
Primus help them, we can only hope this does not continue with our presence here.
The Northern hemisphere is known to host generally colder climates, whilst the Southern hemisphere hosts warmer climates.
The planet’s equator is the centralized area of its warmest zone.
This said, interestingly enough, when it is summer in one hemisphere, it is often winter in the other, in a rather fascinating exchange!
They oppose each other, meaning that through the 3 months it is the opposite season in the other region.
The equator tends to average around the same weather all of the orbital cycle, known as a year, around the
Truly intriguing, the various weather patterns of Earth.
Earth is known to have various forms of weather, ranging from sunny days, cloudy, foggy, rainy or even snow.
That said, Earth weather can also be quite dangerous.
Storms such as hurricanes, tsunamis, tropical storms, and blizzards can devastate entire sections of Earth, and even wipe entire cities off the map.
We have witnessed some of these devastating incidents.
We only hope that humans can find peace after these tragedies.
With each type of weather of course, come certain rules and warnings about potential hazards that could occur.
For example, not even the greatest of the Autobots is immune to the icy roads of the northernmost parts of the world, as our beloved Prime informed us after he spun out due to a particularly vicious patch of black ice amidst a snow storm.
Luckily no harm was done, as he crashed into the snow on the roadside. All that was harmed was perhaps his dignity when he informed us about the incident in a kind reminder to not repeat his actions, so as to avoid harm to ourselves and to others on the road.
Ever so watchful is he.
The same cannot be said for …others within our ranks however.
Incidents with wild weather reported for documentation within this field guide are as follows:
A scientist studying the weather patterns of Earth amidst a particularly wild storm learned what the function of the aptly named lightning rod was. By becoming one involuntarily. Thankfully, said patient now seeks shelter when such storms come to pass.
One of our scouts learned the hard way that driving through fog can be a disorienting and frightening experience. It is not for the faint of Spark. Proceed with caution
Hailstorms. Spheres of ice sometimes the size of Scraplets that falls from the skies. It is as terrifying as it sounds.
One too many Autobot and Con alike have tried to become what is known on Earth as 'storm chasers'. Medical Officer Ratchet implores that the next to attempt such, will only learn from being swirled within a tornado and that the damage from such an event is very tedious to repair.
Please do not attempt to drive through flooded areas after heavy rains. Your engine will become full of water and proceed to stall. It is not worth splashing each other to have this happen.
High winds can push even the largest of us off the road. And we do mean this literally.
We advise parking indoors when choosing to remain in vehicle mode or keeping your heating on when in cold weather. Your vehicle mode can in fact be encased in ice entirely if not careful. It is as annoying and freezing as it sounds.
For those who are flight inclined, be they Decepticon, Autobot or neutral, be aware of snow, rain, lightning, hail, and more, as they can blind the pilot if particularly severe. Even the well known Starscream has been known to crash land due to hail and sleet causing less than optimal flying conditions.
Heatwaves [No we do not mean the Sigma-17 leader, Heatwave] can be cause for our biomechs to overheat and falter, requiring significant cooling, as there have in fact been cases of engines catching on fire or outright shutting down from the intense heat.
Beware of blizzards, as we do not wish anyone to freeze within the piles of snow known to loosen in this.
Earthquakes can cause catastrophic chains of events to occur. Please be aware that aftershocks may occur afterwards.
The rescue team known as Sigma-17 has told us of a good many weather incidents like those mentioned within this chapter. Their testimony was vital for this chapter, and we thank them for their duty in rescue operations of all manner.
Please be sure to contact an official, medic or rescue service in the event of an emergency or accident, no matter the severity.
