how do grey wardens... know that an archdemon soul is "destroyed" when they kill one. like it obviously doesn't reincarnate, but do they have any idea where it actually goes or how it gets destroyed? who actually proved this to them haha.

secondly, solas put up the veil + black city combo to seal away the evanuris, but did he make similar physical jails for the old gods? who did that? and it seems like the grey wardens actually KNOW where they are, and andraste even knew that they were "caged" and not just wandering loose in the deep roads, or sleeping normally somewhere. so who told them that part...

What’s crazy about the first question is that since it’s implied Dumat got dark ritual reincarnated, they didn’t even figure out the “soul transfer double kill” as plan A.

Killing the Archdaemon was PROBABLY an accident from a failed ritual to turn Zazikel into a baby in all honesty, which is really funny honestly—

we've got to stop calling vivienne nobility btw bc she is like objectively not. she is in a relationship with a noble and had the empress' patronage. and this does allow her certain privileges and power compared to other mages in the circle, but it is all far more conditional than anything anyone born or married into nobility would have. which is why she joins the inquisition bc celene has cast her off and bastien is dying.

Varric's ring....as a follow-up to this post, I think Harding or Neve took the ring off his neck as they tried to drag him away from the ritual site. They would have gotten as far as the eluvian, and whether you picture them dragging his body through, or leaving him there, they would have had a moment of doubt. A decision to make.

Varric is dead. They know this. It's not a question. Demons are surrounding them, closing in. Rook is incapacitated. What if trying to save Varric's body gets them all killed?

Because of the Andrastian symbol she keeps as a reminder of her friend, we know that Neve values a thing like this.

But Harding has known Varric the longest. She and Varric would have seen this kind of situation all the time during the Inquisition: a soldier falls, there's no time or resources to get them safely home for their family to mourn, so you take the next best thing. You grab something meaningful, and you start writing that letter in your head as you make your way back to Skyhold.

I think Harding grabbed the ring off Varric's neck. She must have written that letter, too. Because if it had been her, she'd want someone to write to her ma.

It makes sense, then, that the ring only shows up again when Rook talks to Varric in the prison of Regret. Because that's the Varric that Solas did not, and could not, recreate.

If the Dwarven people are a part of Isatunoll due to being made by the Titans — and specifically, being made through lyrium — do we think that extends to the Evanuris, and the ancient Elves, who are made from the same material? Is it possible they all could have communicated with each other, if they did not go to war?

Cobbled together from The Veilguard murals and the Black Codex concept art. I've noticed that all the Titans have this mark on their faces; it doesn't look like an extra eye to me. In the Black Codex, after Solas’ attack on the Titans, a Dwarven woman has a wound on her head in the same spot.

Where did Solas, who plays the piano, carries a lute, where did he first ever hear music? Why the interest in music in the first place?

And why does Solas occasionally speak in meter? Where does that inner rhythm come from, when thinking about the past? What is he tapping into? I know the speech is usually connected to the Fade, but his interest in music came before that. DID he hear the Song at all, even if only for a moment, before he cut it off? I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS!!!
