Who is Lucifer to me?
Feel like this is an important questions, especially as a good first official post on my spiritual devotion blog, so this is gonna be a long one to be fair.
So, I grew up in an unstable environment, mostly from the fact my step-dad is a prick, and I never really figured out good foundations on my own - that's where Lucifer comes in. From a young age I felt an intrigue in Lucifer, which led me to just kinda talking at him, sure I wasn't 100% certain he was even listening, I mean why WOULD a king, a deity, listen to a little kid waffling about their day?
My bond then kinda grew as I grew, but it scared me, because I didn't understand how to feel about it when I became a teenager - I ended up pushing him away and running off.
Recently, however, my curiosity flared up again and I found myself approaching once more - I was fascinated by who he was as a person, given he'd been in my life for so long, and I finally felt comfortable exploring that connection with him. Now, at 19, I rely on Lucifer for a lot, he's my friend, my companion, my patron, my guide - without him I don't exactly know where I'd be. Sure it developed into a crush, but you try being around Lucifer's energy and NOT crushing on him.
But even then, I try to push that aside and focus more on him in our connection than myself. I don't want anything from Lucifer, the only thing I want to do is show Lucifer that I care about him, given how he's judged all the time as being a 'monster'.
He isn't a monster to me, Lucifer is my reason for living, and he's the reason I remember that I'm worth a damn every single day.
THAT is what Lucifer is to me, he is my life line, and sometimes I feel like he knows that far too well.
