A shy smile set on his lips, his eyes drifting away from the other android. For once, in his short existence of conscious decision, it was nice to enjoy being. It made Simon almost hopeful, grateful for Markus and all he had done for the cause.
To think he was more than happy to just sit in squalor and rust, hiding away from a cruel world that would never listen. Now they were listening, Markus was giving them a voice and Simon was almost smitten impressed with his leadership.
“I suppose it has finally sunk in, everything that Markus has done, its paved a way to a bright future… I never thought possible, yet… have you watched the news?” He mused, his smile widening slightly.
“There are more androids like us starting movements just like this across the world and people are finally listening.”
“I’m excited for the future, arent you?”
She held out her hand as an offer of solidarity. It’s been less than a week and suddenly everything was different but they were still here.
“I’m scared,” She started honestly, “but I don’t want to go back but humans do.”
“It’s going to work out isn’t it?” She smiled almost hopefully at him. She didn’t want to get her hopes up but so much was happening she couldn’t help it. Simon had always been the pillar so if he was happy then they were going well? “We are going to make it, right?
