Well, the novovirus is still going strong, though I haven't thrown up in the past 2 hours so hopefully that's a good sign. I've been dry retching for the past 24 hours as there's nothing left in my stomach to throw up, though I still basically haven't left the bathroom for that time either. I think I got about an hours sleep. I just cannot get rid of this nausea, it really takes it out of you, so here I am christmas eve walking around the house very carefully holding my stomach listening to it gurgling and churn away and just, eurgh.
At least the pins and needles all over my body have gone, I've been drinking water with dioralyte in it to replenish all the salts and fluids I've lost.
I really hope I'm well enough tomorrow to have christmas lunch!
I've got the Novovirus.
That diarrhea and vomiting bug that's been doing the rounds in the UK. From mid-day today I've been doing nothing but just that, and it's now 7.20pm and I've only just got enough strength to come on here. I had to go to the emergency clinic in Epsom Hospital because I got pins and needles throughout my entire body and couldn't move, you have no idea how terrifying that is. I've still got the remnants of that but it's not as bad as it was. I'm having to type really slowly cos my fingers won't move. They say this will last for 72 hours, they've given me a note to give work cos I can't work the next two nights, and I feel so guilty because that's Christmas eve into Christmas day, so someone else is going to have to sleep during Christmas day.
I've just ruined someone's Christmas :(
