#happy83rdbirthday to the best #grandpa I could ever have asked for, although in all fairness, he DID say he was turning 15, so I don’t know anymore. My grandpa has battled many things this year but his strength gives me strength and his battles were our family’s battles and I’m so happy to say that he has lived through another year and we wouldn’t be complete without him. He’s every bit himself now. Of course, even when he looks at my tattoos and yells at me for having too many of them, it’s because he cares and loves me so much and only makes me happier to see him smile afterwards. He’s the best person I have ever known and will know (except for the occasional vulgar joke, bad temperament, and overall #grumpyoldman) I’m proud, joyful and every bit of grateful to have him still here with us.
