omg no need to be shy!!! but yes!! bten!reader is the timeloop mc!!

let's see what can i say about them... prior to the shibuya incident they lived a very normal life that they were satisfied and probably even happy with. a loving family, a good job, and a fairly active social life (as in they hung out with their friends from high school at least once a week).

bten!reader's friends are really SOOO important to them. i'm getting teary eyed thinking about it actually LMAOOO. i'd say that early on in high school, bten!reader was a bit of a loner, the quiet honor student type (in their third year of high school they become student council president— that kind of anime archetype LMAOO). but mio and shin are very persistent in befriending them (kei is roped a little later). and bten!reader kinda imprints on them. also kind of like... plays the role of mom friend (a byproduct of them being the responsible friend and mio and shin are the types to get themselves into trouble). i fear i am maybe understating it a little, but they REALLY love their friends. and i think that some of the things they will end up doing, going forward, is very much informed by this love for their friends.

I am still alive, and not possessed! All things considered, I’m quite happy here. Nothing like waiting for my water to boil in a dark, possibly haunted, hallway where all the lights are busted.

Have to say I miss writing though, since I left my laptop behind.

Lots of pastries!!! Not many croissants unfortunately 😣 I did get to go to the bakery that won the best croissant contest ¿ and got to try that one! It was very buttery and good!!!

it's a little late. but im glad you're safe, and hopefully, your family are safe/are staying safe too, especially since its the monsoon season where you're at. So, stay super, duper safe and dry! on another note, i shall consume anything and everything you write

Thank you! It was a very stressful time in my life, to be honest! I was very lucky that I had a place to stay in while I was stranded and people who were willing to help me. I will never forget the kindness of the dietary team who knocked on my door to tell me, quite proudly, that I don't have to worry about food or anything because they were the ones on duty and they were going to make sure I had something to eat.

Or my friends who immediately contacted family members in the area so I can have a place to stay in case I was kicked out of my dorm.

It was a stressful time, but what a way to find out that I'm very blessed indeed.
