Ngl, there's a lot to complain about with succubuns and as a former member who left cause of the stupidly strict MYO approval shit I get it, but I feel like, of all things, the art style is the stupidest among a sea of extremely valid complaints.

Art style is art style, and I understand why they chose that one. Cutesy, simple, easy to make bases from, and probably easy for them to replicate over and over again. The art style itself is a nonissue. It's just a standard cutesy art style. The biggest problem I think ppl have with it is what they decide to dress their characters in sometimes, which is the part that gives the loli/shota vibes to me at least. Especially probably Holland, Dove, and maybe Mercy. It feels like just an unfortunate combination.

i so wish for a different Matentines banner. Oleander looks so disgusting and creepy with the "ahegao" face he's making and it's just uncomfortable as fuck to see!!!

the lack of nose while the tongue has more detail than oleander's face is genuinely unpleasant to look at, such an unfortunate art style.

I knew it wouldn't happen, but I am disappointed they didn't replace the banner. One with Satin hosting dates would have been so much nicer than the oleander and bun fucking one again.

I wish they'd replace the matentines banner already, I HATE the way Oleander is drawn in it. His face creeps me out. Then again Oleander creeps me out in general. Him hitting on Satin in the new dialogue? ✨ew✨

I was wondering what people meant when they were talking about the matentines art… yeah the buns fucking is weird but something about the way oleanders tongue is drawn makes me want to shrivel up and die. I hate tongues oh god why is it like that

Honestly I kind of hate the succubuns lore. I am uninspired completely lol since it’s so restrictive and stupid. Only the pun-names are somewhat interesting and witty.

And to be real, I don’t like vast majority of the NPCs. They’re so ugly besides a few and so many are the same ugly skinny same-facey short-haired white twink copy-pasted that I just cannot be helped to really delve deep into the characters or Yves’ shitty wattpad writing. Sick of the annoying character expressions too with the puppy eyes and awkward, forced NSFW.

I DO enjoy the arpg aspect, the economy, drawing buns , the seasonal traits, and the items you collect but the lore is a snorefest. I love trading buns and writing them in my own universe and building my account but damn that world is so blah to me.

I DO love the community. Because haha it seems like we’ve traumabonded collectively with how shitty people Yves & Luca can act like sometimes.
