My party from Lancer be like:
Come on down to Hercynia! We've got
• A sad boy in his metal mark with severe daddy issues (who is literally just Astarion baldur's gate)
•The time traveler with a dead bug-brother who pilots his mech
•Anubis, the god of the dead and his trusty side kick with a laser cannon of doom
•A manticore pilot [deceased]
•literally just potemkin from Guilty Gear
•Why are you blue? Patience^3
•Samurai dedicated to the art of f a s t
•just a dragon who's here for the vibes
A vengeful giant, licked by flame, come to tear the city out by its roots.
Satellite Company is ambushed by unknown attackers while escorting a group of civilian engineers to the colony’s landing bowl to carry out critical repairs.
Oops I didn’t post any art this year. Anyway here’s some of my Lancer brain rot in chronological order
could’ve sworn i posted this already but i drew this a month or two ago, this is my character for my friend @rockofdoom‘s lancer campaign. his name’s Colson O’Connor, he’s 58, an ex-hockey enforcer, ex-space trucker, ex-space truck mech security detail, ex-hired muscle, current union liberator and mech pilot.
all he’s good at is hitting people
space god! 27 11 5?
link since god can’t scroll through his own blog
27. have you ever had a big dm goof (forgetting to give information, giving too much at the wrong time, etc.)? how did it turn out?
oh absolutely and plenty of them. I've been on a pretty good streak as of late but my first big d&d game, Senshae, was a TOTAL mess of me giving out way too much information way too early. That game was a mess, although I think if I ran it with the skills I have now I could have saved it. I did not have those skills though, and the game is defunct and the players I ran it for have largely scattered to the wind.
11. favorite npc(s) you’ve ever played?
this one is kinda hard, since my games actually haven't generally run long enough for me to establish a party favorite. hmm...actually nevermind it was definitely Dr. Marricado from NRFaW. Playing a foil to Aero's near-madness was really fun.
5. what is your favorite part about running a game?
it's hard for me to pick, i tend to have a really good time the whole time. I think I have the most fun twofold — one, as you know i LOVE describing the atmosphere of locations and people. lengthy visual and sensory descriptions are kinda my specialty. Two, I adore bringing something into play that really puts the dread into the heart of my players — like saying the signal [THE BROADCAST] was putting out sounded like a cascade. Double for if the thing causing the dread is a callback or something my players already know to be afraid of.
