There were some nights Kai preferred to go clubbing alone, especially on Friday nights when he'd retire early from work and feel the need to shake off the stress that had accumulated throughout the day. With the weekend just around the corner, a nightclub where he could drink his worries away and find a cutie (or two, if he was lucky) sounded more tempting than it should have.
For the sake of excitement, however, he visited a bar he had never been to, his decision solely influenced by word of mouth that the bouncer wasn't so attentive. Kai had a fake identification card on him at all times (it really was advantageous to be working with the government), but it did make his job easier if the guard wasn't so scrutinizing, either. So, getting in The Nightingale Bar was quick and painless, but finding the motive to stay was more difficult than he thought it would be. The club-goers were more or less like clothes pushed to the back of a stand, dull and lacking the spark Kai sought in his relationships kindled with strangers.
There were, of course, several women who approached him in the cattish way they did, swaying and bumping their hips closer with a playful gleam in their eyes. They were, unfortunately, nothing more than the clothes they wore (or lack thereof): skimpy, trashy, and for show, overall. Perhaps if they hadn't approached him with the musk of the dick they blew just five minutes ago in their breaths, he wouldn't be so opposed to the idea of a quick romp in the sheets. But--as hard as it was to believe--Kai was rather picky about the people he eventually bedded, for lack of a better term, even if they were less than honest encounters.
He danced for the time being, and finally, after two hours of weeding through smelly and trashy people, he spotted someone dancing a few feet away. The stranger was more than a pretty face; Kai actually recognized him (because, who wouldn't forget a face like that?) under the club haze and seizure-inducing strobe lights. That was Kyungsoo, the same boy who had rejected him three years ago, no, pulverized his heart to itty-bitty pieces because he just wasn't worth his time. Well, this was interesting. The promise of sweet revenge was right up Kai's alley, so he seized this god-given opportunity to turn the tables for once. All he had to do was catch the other male's attention, and Kai did seamlessly, too. All he had to do was cast a spell on Kyungsoo with the entrancing way he moved his hips and hold him there with the magic in his eyes.
