A comment I left today on the Nova Scotia government Facebook page about their daily press conference regarding covid - I truly do not think they have the people of Nova Scotia’s best interest in their minds - all they care about is the bottom line and keeping us in check and in control - they have done nothing but bully and cajole us in the last four months to try and save as much money as possible - telling us that we are on one hand fear mongering and on another hand not going far enough in our daily loves to protect each other - in short - I am completely frustrated and disgusted by our government and I really do not care - “This is so depressing to read everyday and nothing improves - I had an epiphany yesterday- I finally realized that I am almost certainly not going to die from covid19 but I am almost certainly going to die BECAUSE of covid19- because our great public health officials have determined that it’s better to keep our healthcare system at 50% just in case we get a second wave that might happen - just like the first wave never collapsed our healthcare system - but it most certainly has murdered many Nova Scotians - and it will continue to murder Nova Scotians just like me who have been refused access to our healthcare system that we gladly pay very high taxes for - 2 years they say it’s going to be before our needed procedures are rebooked - a lot of us will be dead before that happens - myself included - so yesterday I realized that I might as well just enjoy what time I have left with the physical pain I’m in everyday because of the healthcare being denied to me by McNeil and Strang - I hold them personally responsible for my inevitable death and I want the people of Nova Scotia to know that people like mines death will be on their head - and I hope their conscience when all of this is over - I will not die quietly and I hope everyone else that they have murdered will also not be Murdered quietly“ #stephenmcneil #nsliberals #fedup #drstrang #covid19 #halifax #novascotia #sickofbeingsick #dogkisserinternationalheadquarters (at Dogkisser International Headquarters) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCbxLl7JSxP/?igshid=1l364sxfp8jpg

This is - excuse my French - fucking bull shit - does that mean I get to go to Mew Brunswick’s open health care system to get my health care needs seen to? If he gets to go why don’t I? When did a two tier health care system start up in Nova Scotia? So interesting- continuing on with my Strang vibe - this is page 7 of a PowerPoint presentation that Dr Strang gave to the Chamber of Commerce this week - the Halifax Examiner is doing awesome work on all of this - Instagram doesn’t do hyperlinks very well so go search “Halifax Examiner” on Facebook and you’ll find their post from today that has this presentation there - people are pretty miffed that the head of public health for our fair province would give a 17 page presentation to a select group and not give the same disclosures to the public about what might be happening regarding what he has termed our “recovery process” - anyhoo - I got stuck on page 7 because I have this CRAZY idea that I am in control of my destiny and I live in a free society but we have learned in the last two mo than that we are most vlcwrtainly not free - so this page talks about WHO is going to be representing the various sectors impacted and I have to ask - do they k ow all those sectors? Do they know that people like me are one of those sectors? And why do they not seem to care one flying fuck about my sectors? And the page says these “senior executives “ will steward the risk assessment and the engagement with thaxes sectors going forward. What does that even mean?
