Name the book challenge
I've been really bad at keeping up with this (life is quite messy atm) so i'm just probably gonna do a bunch of promots every time i post.
Day 6: aesthetic
so i decided to go with A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway. This book is a no plot just vibes kind of book for me, which i actually really love. I love the aesthetic of Paris in the 20s with all the cafes and bookshops. It was a very comforting read for me.
Day 7: do you have to read books for class? Name a book. If not, name a book you would recommend as a teacher.
I don't read literature for class so i'm gonna go with a book i'd recommend as a (high school) teacher. That is Persona Normal (aka normal person) by Benito Taibo. I don't know if this book is published in english but i LOVED this one. It's basically a coming of age story of a boy named Sebastián, who lives with his uncle Paco. It's full of love for books and imagination and the struggles of growing up. It's a heart warming read for sure.
Day 8: theater
Uh, so i'm gonna mention the first play i ever read. It is Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. I read it in high school for literature class and to be honest i was a bit skeptical. But i enjoyed this book so much! I re read it once after high school and i still think it's great!
