ok more nuclear lore but this time its way more of a crackpot theory lol

tl;dr, my personal idea is that the books take place in what used to be france/western europe.

now if you look at these two maps provided, you can see there is a slight resemblance to real life IF on the guardians map, north points to the right

its not perfect, but its still interesting. the st aegolius canyons are the swiss alps, the everwinter sea is the english channel, and the beyond the beyond is spain/portugal. the differences in biomes could be explained by nuke-induced climate change.

again. i freely admit this is a stretch based on a reach, but the reason i champion it is that it would place the kingdom of ambala roughly in the same area as Paris. as i said in my original ask, i choose to believe that the reason that ambala had a particular abundance of flecks, and that the owls there suffered birth defects, is that it was ground zero for one of the bombs. if it used to be Paris, that would certainly help back that up. theres also other connections (the castle where trader mags gets her stained glass could be the palace of versailles for example), but theres still holes. like, where did the sea of hoolemere come from? is it actually a water-filled crater from some other impact/calamity? or maybe sea level rise?

Life Rates AU

Have you ever wondered why they called them “mortality” rates? It’s almost like they’re marking the likelihood of being forced to face your own mortality, but they put a different label on it because “death rate” just didn’t have the same anti-morbid ring to it.

There’s also a rumor that there’s information hidden in the oldest places in the world, where names and ages are whispered in secrecy: the Vatican Archives, the Illuminati Vaults, the Royal Air Force Menwith Hill in England, Area 51, the Svalbard Global Seed Vault, even some corners of the Dark Web.

It’s easy to try and guess what they’re hiding there, but what if I told you the core piece of information they’re dedicated to hiding isn’t nuclear launch codes, the existence of aliens, or the location of the Antichrist. What if I told you they’re hiding the most important thing to the continuation of human existence: our immortality rates.

so yeah have a sketchy lithiumclaw and mercurystep! lithiumclaw is a chaotic dumbass and mercurystep is a tired angry bastard (they’re girlfriends and probably are part of skyclan/have skyclan ancestry)

what’s up fuckers i made another au ok so since i’m lazy i only drew stan and kyle but i’m gonna draw more of the boys later on this is an au where, after an event involving a nuclear power plant (and possibly cartman) causes the whole town of south park to be affected by radiation and it really fucks up some stuff for instance, winter never ends. they’ve literally had only winter (4+ feet of snow 24/7, and they get a new snowstorm every few days) for the past 2-3 years. everyone’s used to it by now but everyone fucking hates it another problem is, it affects the townspeople too. almost everyone got some side effects of the radiation. since i’ve only drawn stan and kyle, i can’t really demonstrate what i have in mind Kyle: He was blinded by the nuclear blast. His eyes pretty much melted into this strange green liquid and he has to use one of those walking sticks to get around without bumping into anything. He wears a blindfold around his head to keep his eyes from dripping nuclear waste onto his face and clothes (although he also wears it because he doesn’t want to freak out other people). Stan: He’s one of the luckier ones. The only thing that was really affected was that his skin turned more grey and dead-looking, and became cold to the touch. Whenever he gets pissed off, his eyes glow a reddish-brown color and he will occasionally (although rarely) have spurts of super-strength. will add more onto this au later but i’m tired of drawing right now

Made a protective hazmat suit for Tobias who exists in @yes-this-is-brony‘s NuclearAU. A full coverage air tight suit made mostly of of waterproof Cuben fiber and waterproof lead lined military grade Kevlar. The suit is lightweight and flexible but still provides great physical protection. It has its own SCBA which can carry around 24 hours of clean oxygen.

nuclear au kenny so he was in the nuclear power plant when the whole thing blew and he got one of the worse (?) mutations basically, when his adrenaline levels rise, he begins to transform into this green-skinned sort of harpy (he also grows feathers). when he transforms, usually he only grows green claws and sometimes his eyes will change. whenever he’s threatened (in a fight or about to die) he will fully transform. his skin turns to green feathers and his hair turns green in color. his nails are poisonous and will leave a nasty mark if he scratches you. he may or may not have scratched cartman a few times.

AHHHH for the Nuclear AU

Traits:

Was born a pegasus but radiation lead to him never growing feathers so he still has the limbs tho

Coat and hair grows in patches due to radiation exposure, he gets really excited and proud of the few he can grow long

 He has Heterochromia iridium

He cannot breathe on his own and has to wear a portable breathing apparatus but it also allows him to breathe under water

If i had to give him a canon voice, he sounds just like Static Shock from the old cartoon
