Will you love me until the end of humanity?
designing a character who needs a concrete look. she’s a demon. her name is Maggie
there’s an argument going on in the notes of my art history post (i know this because deleting a post does absolutely nothing) about whether man ray knew the guy who committed the black dahlia murder and i actually know the answer to that question so i’m making a post i guess. the answer is “maybe” and i’m very much against presenting this as a definite call out post for man ray on the grounds of being involved in a famous murder, which he probably wasn’t. the things that imply his involvement in the case are 1) this piece of his, which suggests imagery similar to the way elizabeth short’s corpse was found
and 2) the fact that he hung out with the guy who a lot of people think did it, george hodel. hodel is a PRETTY LIKELY SUSPECT, but as you may know the murder was never solved and it simply isn’t accurate to say that he definitively did it. hodel was a horrible person whose own daughter accused him of sexually abusing and trafficking her though so you can cancel man ray for being friends with him anyway
really old fantasy character designs that i still think are extremely dope
