Allow me to explain what is going on here before you read. I decided to write a bunch of tankas for my 500themes challenge. I at random selected a prompt and wrote something without giving much thought. Than I decided to put them in "order". So I did end up sorta telling a story, LOL. The prompts are in bold.

Quaking knees The moment arrived and he found himself more scared than ever before. "May I ask you something?" Her dad nodded hiding a smile

Remember me He just kept telling himself Zendaya she was happy would always need her father's love and that Val could never change that fact

Chained to mortality Asked her alone nice and simple no fanfare or cameras to capture it would be chained in their hearts as a lifelong memory

Shard of honor Val he cleared his throat  "My life is no longer mine instead its yours this an honor not a promise and that holds the most value."

Of blood and honor He cut his flesh as the church gasped she is watching and still knowing he was fine but unwilling to show her honor the same way

Ragged hunger "There's a hunger of our soul in all souls only one can satisfy completely and not ragged  bites, you Val feed me thank you"

Natural disaster Both had too many friends family connections to keep the reception small and by the end you'd think a hurricane had been formed
