Upon awakening, Marcus scribbled a reply to Megajerkus, asking him to send him a portrait of the bard who had interfered with him.

«If this will help Marcus invent something new for the benefit of our garrison, then I have nothing against this request», — Megajerkus decided, and began to think about how to fulfill this request.

«Bring legionary Daubsterus to me!».

When the required legionary appeared before him, Megajerkus outlined the task.

«I would be glad to, but I paint portraits exclusively from life», — Tiberius remarked.

«Paint from me, and then you can change it a little», — Newsynosus suggested. — «Does it really matter to Marcus which picture he shakes his fist at?».

Newsynosus found a bow and, holding it like a lyre, struck a pose. He did indeed share some features with Cacofonix — the same height and build, a long nose. The would-be artist placed a dented shield in front of him, anchored it edgewise in the ground, secured a sheet of parchment to it, and began to create. Having captured the silhouette and face of Newsynosus, Daubsterus gave him a golden mustache and hair and the attire of a Gaulish bard, then signed it «Tib. Daubsterus».

Когда нужный легионер предстал перед ним, Самодурус обрисовал ему задачу.

— Я бы рад, но я пишу портреты исключительно с натуры. — заметил Тиберий.

— Пиши с меня, потом немного поменяешь. — предложил Несуйсвойносус. — Не все ли равно Марку, какой картинке потом кулаком грозить?

Несуйсвойносус отыскал лук и, взяв его в руки наподобие лиры, встал в позу. Он действительно имел некоторые общие черты с Какофониксом — одинаковый рост и телосложение, длинный нос. Несостоявшийся художник поставил перед собой помятый щит, закрепил его краем в земле, зафиксировал на нем лист пергамента и принялся творить. Запечатлев силуэт и лицо Несуйсвойносуса, Тяпляпус снабдил его золотистыми усами и волосами и одеждой галльского барда, после чего подписал «Тиб. Тяпляпус».

I want to present you my Roman OCs from «Asterix and the Germans». This picture doesn't show all my Roman OCs from this fanfic, it only shows the members of Camp Aquarium (I have more, I'll show them later).

Left to right:

Decurion Numerius Newsynosus (It's an ironic name, because the number of times he interferes in something that isn't his business per day is beyond counting and numbering, and his surname means «nose for news»). His father were alcoholic, who don't take part in his son's life, and that's why he grew up a street kid. He is best friend of Believinallthingus (it doesn't matter whether Believinallthingus likes it or not). He is pretty annoying, but Newsynosus has a sensitive soul that is not indifferent to the grief of others. Нe loves news and gossips, but at the same time he will never stoop to denunciations and blackmail.

Decurion Augustus Believinallthingus. He is son of priest of god Phoebus. He is an albino. Had married with Orchideya, daughter of priest of Juno. He believes in horoscopes and amulets, for which Newsynosus always makes fun of him in a friendly manner. With Newsynosus they complete each other and helped to each other to acclimatize to army conditions.

Aristarchus Eagleyeus. His mother is Spartan, and he is half-roman, half-greek. Eagleyeus is the fiercest, bravest, fastest and strongest legionnaire, but all of this no matter against Gaulish Magic Potion. He usually mocks neophytes if they are weak or «ugly». If he doesn't like something or someone, he regularly states that there is no such thing in Sparta. He dreams of promotion, because he is disgusted by obeying those who are worse than him in battle.

Decurion Thundervoiceus. One of the long-timers of the Aquarium camp, he has served here since its founding. He is distrustful of the younger decurions, considering them too young for such a responsible position, although many years of service have not made him experienced, and he is often quite careless. He is hot-tempered and loud.

Centurion Megajerkus. The kind of boss who's constantly overflowing with crazy ideas that his subordinates have to implement. He's very hot-tempered and easily angered.

Option Gracchus Ambitious. His father is very strict and rather violently raised his son. He has several marks on his body from his father's punishments. He is afraid of loud and sharp sounds and freezes when someone touches him. But despite all the difficulties, Ambitious did not break down and strives to prove himself and make a name for himself. He is the weakest and the most incapable in battle in Aquarium, but he is a great strategist, which allowed him to make a name for himself and quickly advance up the career ladder. Ambitious is already an option, but this is not the limit of his dreams — he aims to become a senator.

Pelicanus. He is camp medic from Aquarium camp. He is selfless, soft-hearted and hardworking man, who cares about all members of Aquarium like his own children. You can come to him not only with physical pain, but also with mental pain, and he will always listen and help with words and deeds. He is loved by all soldiers and military leaders. However, when it's necessary, he is strict and unforgiving — for example, if his patient refuses to comply with the prescribed regimen.

Tiberius Daubsterus. He dreamed of becoming a famous artist, but he failed to achieve fame, and he resigned himself and went to serve by conscription. Sometimes Daubsterus makes the necessary sketches and drawings by order of military leaders. In his school years, he was friends with Psychosus, who now serves in the garrison of Athens and with whom Daubsterus still corresponds.
