as a killugon shipper i feel like all the freaking out over noko making an appearance is a little Much whether it's good or bad cuz i highly doubt she's gonna play a role at all, if she SOMEHOW ends up being gon's canon love interest i honestly won't even be surprised in the slightest? i don't expect creators of media to make fanon ships (killugon) canon and i don't think it's a good idea to expect them to do so either to avoid disappointment and whatnot, however i can absolutely understand fear and mild annoyance at the idea of it as it would be fun to have explicitly queer characters in anime for once ... it's rare for creators of large fandoms such as this to even acknowledge more niche fandom spaces after all, and the only reason teams working on medias for fandoms such as tadc acknowledged ships was because theyre way more online (and also togashi lives in japan hence western fandom spaces are practically unknown over there LOL). imo what makes ships fun is the fact that they aren't canon and we as fans can interpret things however we like as they're purposefully made for viewers to see them in many aspects :p
i feel like the people hyping up noko being significant within the story when it comes to them finding the real woble are probably looking way too far into it as well because she looks WAY too young to even be leaving whale island (and also too young to be gon's future wife or wtv cuz she looks like she's freaking five😭) and also she's always just been a background character,, ending d where shes his wife is also scrapped from what ive heard too so it's whatever. she also seems to be mirroring mito and gings relationship so at most they're probably just comrades or friends. this is all coming from ONE panel so we honestly never know until they make another appearnace but i really doubt noko is gonna do anything. if she did and became gon's future wife i'll just be like Alright i guess, i really hope she doesn't get the misogynistic "i HATE noko and she should die because she got in the way of my mlm ship" treatment because that would be terrible, especially since retz was treated that way :/ i personally don't care for noko that much since she's not important so far but Please guys...i love killugon too but if she becomes his wife don't be Evil.....
but YAY im really glad killugon are back! it was very soon for my expectations as i imagined that they'd be seperated for years but hey at least they have another purpose in the story now :-) i think it's also good for gon and killuas development for them to just have a break from the training/fighting as they're indeed very traumatized children and hopefully they can just catch a fucking break from bullshit and (hopefully) peacefully find and protect the real woble. this was a huge bombshell tho and today when the chapter officially releases hxhblr will genuinely be FREAKING OUT which im excited to see.... KILLUGON NATION RISE!!!!!!!!

kurapika: transmasc nonbinary aroace - i like to think that he's unable to fully transition due to immense stress because of his beef with the phantom troupe but by the succession war arc he's able to finally fully medically transition and get on testosterone #MakingShitUp . when it comes to him being aroace i feel he doesn't care nor has the time to pursue relationships which would make a queerplatonic leopika dynamic more interesting 👁️ goes by they/he pronouns
leorio: heteroflexible - kurapika is the only person he truly "loves" but he's primarily attracted to women otherwise
hisoka: genderqueer and pansexual - pansexual is self explanatory but when it comes to his gender it's mainly a performance and "queer" in some way,,, very in character 👾

illumi: unlabeled/a-spec - i don't think he necessarily thinks about romantic relationships outside of getting married for his job SOLELY for reproduction and business purposes. he has conflicted feelings for hisoka that he tries his best to deny because of his conservative queerphobic family, and because hes brainwashed to be loyal to them above all it would be an interesting dynamic on his side. sadly has internalized bigotry especially with the way he kept misgendering alluka :(
chrollo: asexual and orchidromantic - WOOO i love this one!!!!!! he's infauted by the idea of romance and romantic relationships in books and such but knows if he tried to pursue one it would never work out since he believes his only "true" identity is tied to the spiders and the spiders only. he and pakunoda have a doomed relationship where they both love each other but both knew it would never work out, resulting in them both having a crush on each other and even secretly mourning the relationship they could've had if they didn't go down such a path. ANGST!!!1!!!11!!
pakunoda: transgender and bisexual - she's definitely a girlkisser as well but her dynamic with chrollo is something i really like so she's bi 😼 as mentioned above i talked about their relationship and it's very sad augh
uvogin: bear and gay - he's the epitome of the bear identity and gay at that!!! he loves both shalnark and nobunaga 🩵
machi: lesbian - she's THE #1 girlkisser trust. not an INCH of male attraction in that woman
shizuku: demigirl and sapphic - also a girlkisser and has that she/they nonbinary swag
feitan: agender man, queerplatonic, aromantic, unlabeled, and polyamourous(?) - doesn't really feel strong connections to the concept of gender as well as romance but he enjoys watching it unfold between other troupe members and teases them about it. he doesn't think about what gender he has attraction towards but most likely prefers men and is VERY queerplatonic!!!!!! in a qpr with shalnark and phinks. he/it swag

franklin: aroace - does NOT gaf about relationships and sees the other troupe members as younger siblings to look after. so cute 🥹
kalluto: genderfluid, xenogenders and neopronouns user, and a-spec(?) - definitely a closeted queer kid in a family of queerphobic people and probably goes by some cool neopronouns and xenogenders! he only feels accepted by the troupe because they're also very queer and was dismayed when illumi joined
alluka: transgender - it's lowkey canon! her story and the possession thing/being seen as a monster by her conservative family gives off a double-meaning of how transgender children grow up in non-accepting families and i like to believe it was intentional somehow especially since literally everyone but killua, the only person who sees her as human, refers to her by she/her pronouns
morena: lesbian. no doubt about it.
