Nurzak becoming Gundalia's prime minister implies one of two things.
One, Gundalia is now a parliamentary republic a la Hungary, with a largely ceremonial president. One problem, though, where the fuck is the president? Because he's been established to be the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, a role most presidents have in real life, I like to imagine that it might be Ren. It does feel like the logical follow-up to that bit where Barodius goes "I might even give you my spot as head of the Twelve Orders" (bitch, he took your spot as leader of the entire planet), and because of how jarringly modern the word can sound to a lot of people, sci-fi and fantasy properties both tend to employ "President by Any Other Name" a lot.
Two, Gundalia is now a subject of the Neathian crown. This wouldn't be too unfathomable considering Nelvana worked on this show, because that's exactly how Canada is run. They have their own prime minister, but the British monarch is their head of state. "Borrowing" a foreign monarch to fix a succession crisis and making them ruler of two countries also isn't unheard of; it's how both the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the union between England and Scotland came to be.
