PLEASEEEEE. WHY WONT MY SURGEON GIVE ME DRUGSSS. YOU TOOK OUT MY FUCKING KIDNEY CHOPPED SHIT UP AND THEN PUT IT BACK ON THE OTHER SIDEE!?!??? GIVE ME PAIN MEDSSSS

I’m not even asking for narcoticsss. I am miserable and in nauseating pain 24/7, I am 15 years olddd. Like I get overdosing narcotics and similar things have led to an increase in drug addiction but I’m not even asking for that. I cannot breathe properly because of how much pain I am in. I’m not even starting school completely, I’m doing a class every other day.

Don’t get me started on trying to tell doctors how much pain you are in because they will always recommend pain camps. Which is actual fucking torture and makes kids want to kill themselves.

This is very scattered because I’m tired and in pain and pissed the fuck off. I cannot mentally handle the pain, I desperately need meds but doctors are so hesitant to give anything to people under 18

My entire body hurts so bad today and I am so exhausted despite having like 10 hours of sleep. My body and nervous system are so overwhelmed from malnutrition on top of my usual complex chronic illness stuff and it is seriously difficult to come out of it. The intense fight or flight response that I’ve been in for months feels never ending and nothing has really been able to calm me down. I was always aware of physical effects of malnutrition, but my level or anxiety is higher than I’ve ever experienced and my dissociation threshold feels nonexistent. And the worst part is knowing that food will help, but if I overdo it I’ll end up in the hospital again with significantly worse symptoms.

I’ve unintentionally lost so much weight over the past few months because I haven’t been able to eat normally and I don’t tolerate my Soylent meal replacement shakes anymore. It’s quite scary watching my body change like it is and that definitely confounds my anxiety. I’m really glad my pcp was able to get me a prescription for a meal replacement shake because I really don’t want a feeding tube and am doing everything that I can to avoid one. I just really miss food and making meals, which is making my medical diet more difficult. (It helps knowing I absolutely can not tolerate the pizza I really want, but it’s just hard restricting myself so much).

And it’s so fucking difficult to actually hydrate myself and stay hydrated even *with* IV hydration. I am really so miserable and in so much pain and so nauseous.

sometimes i think maybe the reason my body is so fcked up is because i never forwarded that email chain to 10 people when i was 8

earlier when my kidney was really hurting i decided to comb thru my last several ct scans of my pelvis/abdomen/chest to see if i could find nutcracker syndrome (bc i have all the symptoms + heds which makes it more likely AND the pain is almost entirely in my left kidney and it REALLY hurts today)

i stared down ct scan diagrams to find out what the fuck to look for and

here's a ct from 2022. nutcracker syndrome is caused by your superior mesenteric artery and abdominal aorta compressing your left renal vein.

this is how the vein looked in 2022. i was about 40 lbs heavier (lost weight from malnutrition) and not having any kidney pain (just rib subluxations which feel different). as you can see, that vein is not at all compressed. major weight loss can worsen vascular compressions

this next one is from october 2023 (last year)

and then from december -

thats kind of a huge difference, lol. no wonder my left kidney hurts so much, the blood supply is literally being cut off 🤠

anyways here's all three images together. i knew this was a likely issue which is why im looking for a vascular surgeon but its absolutely wild that i managed to figure out anatomy enough to find it myself lol
