Hey guys! It is Tessa Renée here :) I am going to share with you what foods to NEVER eat, and what foods you SHOULD eat.
What foods to NEVER consume!
The main 3 categories:
• Trans Fats
• Artificial sweeteners + colors
• Fake preservatives
Trans Fats:
They are the cheapest types of fats manufacturers can use causing them to be used very frequently… SADLY. As Mens Fitness says, “Trans fats are twice as difficult for the body to dissolve as saturated fats, and because they boost bad (LDL) cholesterol and have been shown to decrease food (HDL) cholesterol, they’re active agents of heart disease, diabetes, nutritional deficiencies and cellular deterioration.” Pretty much, they are cheap fats that not only make you fat but also poison your body.
• Partially hydrogenated oils are one of the worst fats you can consume.
Artificial Sweeteners, Colors, and Flavors:
These are FAKE and cheap unnecessary ingredients commonly used by manufacturers.
The consumption of to much fake sugar (found in artificial sweeteners) can increase your risk for diabetes, obesity and other metabolic disorders. Eat natural sugars found in fruits and such, NOT fake sugars made in a factory.
Most common artificial sweetener:
• High-Fructose Corn Syrup (really avoid this one; it is the worst and is in almost everything.).
Artificial colors and flavors are pretty much the useless ingredients manufactures use to make the foods more colorful and tasteful. They are completely unnecessary to the foods and are just extra chemicals being added to your body.
Fake Preservatives:
These are cheap ingredients/chemicals used in foods to prolong there shelf life. They are commonly connected to health problems such as cancer,
Notice that the following preservatives are pretty much unpronounceable!
Most common fake preservatives:
• BHT (butylated hydrozyttoluene)
• BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole)
Food advertisers often trick you by not including the fake preservatives in the ingredients or/and putting “Natural” on the front. They instead put it in a little section alone hidden on the packaging. Make sure to read all of the nutritional information prior to assuming that there are no bad preservatives.
What foods you SHOULD eat!
I can’t stress this enough… EAT WHAT THE EARTH NATURALLY PROVIDES FOR US! Try to avoid fake/processed anything. Humans are made to eat the natural foods of this world, not crap made in a factory.
Eat -> • Proteins (fish and lean meats)
• Healthy Fats (coconut oil, nuts, ext.)
• Healthy Carbs (vegetables and such; NOT THINGS LIKE FLOUR)
