Im screaming I just got a letter in the mail from sophomore me bow that I've graduated and in my "hopes for the future" section I wrote "I hope WH13 will be on its 6th season. And that Bering & Wells are together" ohh I was so innocent back then.

I mean, I know the show isn't going with the fake death storyline, but if someone wanted to pick it up for a continuation, they could easily pull it off without looking ridiculous because, uhm, godlike ASI? Who's hella manipulative? Has every resource available? Faking someone's death who's already in critical condition? Urging every other player to do what it wants? Totally believable, honestly, 10/10 would watch.

And merging this with the last gifset I reblogged: if the spin-off ended up being at least partly about Root and Shaw nurturing Gen’s spy talents, I’d 100% be there.

in light of, uh, recent events, is there any chance you could recommend some really fluffy fanfiction? any fandom! just, you know, fanfiction where absolutely everyone is alive and happy.

Oh.  Well.  I only really read Bering and Wells fic unless some other fandom shows up on my dash, so that’s what you’re going to get.  This is not an exhaustive list of fluffy fics; these are just ones I found after sifting through a bunch of them at random.

Going through fics and realizing that while there’s plenty of fluff in the Bering and Wells fandom, it is more often than not accompanied by lots of angst.  I haven’t read all of the fics above recently, but I believe they’re of the not-much-angst variety.  They at least end fluffily.  (Except that fluffy cop au is actually UST, so that might be important to know if you specifically need them to be together.  But… I mean… “fluffy” was right there in the title of the series….)

Clarke was in prison for treason at the start of the show. People 18 years or older get floated, so the oldest she could have been was 17. Eliza is 27 though.

I knew that, but how long had she been there?  That part I didn’t catch.

ETA: Okay, her Wikia page says 18.  Fine, I GUESS.

ETA2: OHH, there’s a TIMELINE.  So she was sent there when she was 17 and the 100 were sent to Earth a year later.  I’m... not sure where they got all of that, but I’m sure they know a ton more about the show than I do.

no, as far as text is concerned, the Ice Queen only wanted Clarke to take her power as Wanheda. It's definitely not out of the realm of possibility that she was trying to punish lexa as well, though.

Thank you!  I remember the “taking her power” thing, but I can’t remember whether that was conjecture or if they knew that for sure.  By the time I got to the last episode I was exhausted... it was the eighth episode or something that I’d watched that day.

Rooney being up for best supporting actress mostly annoys me bc everyone KNOWS that if this was a het movie it would be best actress and best actor. But god forbid we have a lesbian movie!! what do you mean!! they're equal!! YOU CAN'T PUT BOTH IN THE SAME CATEGORY BLASFEMY (i'm waaaay too salty over this bs)

My understanding is that it’s more of a strategic nomination pushed by the studio.  They place the nominee in the category in which they’re more likely to win, despite how little sense it makes for them to be there.  The same thing happened with Hailee Steinfeld for True Grit.  The same thing happened this year with The Martian being placed in the Best Comedy category (????!!!!!!) at the Golden Globes.  Probably another reason in this case is that it leaves the option open for both Cate and Rooney to walk away with awards.  I get why they do it, but it rankles the shit out of me.
