{ ’ He despised Saturday mornings with his entire being. Nine’s eyes were heavy and his drooped eyelids left him stuck with a permanent glare from the moment he showed up at work. It’s not that he needed a job, but it seemed like something an average college student would have if he were to play his part. Working at the movie rental store wasn’t exactly hard work, especially since since it consisted of mainly sitting behind the counter and recommending movies to customers - not that his fond taste in horror movies was always appreciated. The only thing Nine couldn’t comprehend was why someone would rent a movie at 7 in the morning, let alone on a Saturday. Raising his eyes at the remark, Nine meet the other male’s confused glance with his nonchalant stare; }
"What is?"
{ ’ Nine furrowed his brows and leaned back into his chair, arms crossed over his chest as if almost sizing up the other. Unsure of what his customer could have been possibly referring to, he darted his eyes across the counter before pointing to the sale sign in conclusion; }
"That? It’s just twenty percent off the second movie you rent - nothing that crazy.”
{ ’ He gave the other an incredulous look, lips slowly curling amusedly. ‘How odd’, he thought; }
What got into his mind, he didn't know and he really didn't want to find out either. Maybe it was the feeling of suffocation he would always feel whenever he's stuck inside that four walled bedroom with little to no decorations. He needed air, an intervention to distract him from his unsettling thoughts. This led him to go out without saying anything to the young male who has been taking care of him all this time.
I'm sure he'll understand.
Okay, maybe it wasn't really a good idea after all. He didn't want to admit it to himself but maybe, just maybe he was a little bit lost. A soft sigh escaped his lips, looking around the unfamiliar place and decided to go inside one of the shops which happened to be a movie rental store. Might as well... then I'll call home so he can pick me up here.
The bell on top of the glass door rung, indicating his entrance, his curious pair of eyes looked around, scanning the place, "Not much people." He muttered under his breath before stepping inside the place, immediately making his way towards the horror section, picking up movies that seemed terrible enough to be considered funny instead of scary. "Ooh, I haven't seen this. I think-" He chimed as he grabbed the dvd, carrying it along with the other movies he planned to watch later.
"This is crazy..." Luhan subconsciously muttered as his gaze fell upon the guy behind the counter. How the hell did he know I'm here? Wait, did he teleport or something? "What..." The male's voice didn't quite register on his mind because he was too focused on his face. That gave me a heart attack! It was a different person after all... "Oh! Yeah! Anyway, I'm renting these..." He carefully placed them down on the counter, scratching on his cheek as he chuckled nervously, his brows furrowed as he continued to stare at the male in front of him when the other wasn't looking. Weird.
