So these are all the doodles I did for that “I <3 Webcomics” thing I posted yesterday. I got 8 Likes total, so I picked my fave character from 8 different webcomics I’m reading/have read.
Buwaro (and “Snowy”) from Slightly Damned. A fantasy that takes the “Angels vs Demons” trope and twists it all around! This was actually a comic Leigh introduced to me early in our relationship, and I was hooked.
Foyle Leaf from Missing Monday. I’ve hyped this one before, but I’ll summarize it again. It’s a fantastical story about two gals who fall in love and have to meet again SOMEHOW. Keys and corridors and strange creatures and bargainings....Oooh~
Nymph!Syrma from MoonSlayer (adult content warning). This one’s a high fantasy epic about a cursed girl and her journey to kill the moon. Curious? You’ll have to check it out then, huh?
Emily from Heroic Shenanigans. This one a simple tale about kids at a camp learning about their superpowers and how to use them and become actual heroes eventually!
Rana Tashovic from Sombulus. I just started reading this one recently, but it’s definitely keeping my attention. It’s a fun fantasy shonen-like tale about a group of magical/fighting/mechanic misfits traveling around the world and causing weirdness wherever they go.
Nwain from Nwain: The Knight Who Wandered Dream. An animated comic (it’s real neat), it’s about this gal who is searching for her home and along the way, helps others with their problems while figuring out her own.
Bailey from The Junk Hyenas Diner. Another one from the creator who made Slightly Damned, this one is a more lighthearted sci-fi slice-of-life where we focus on a small hyena-like clan and their little diner and the kinds of guests and silly shenanigans that can come with that, too
Penny Levac from the legendary Penny & Aggie. A tale about girl meets girl....and the people around them as well! This one’s finished, too. This was another comic Leigh showed me early on and we actually read it as it was finishing up. It was truly inspiring and I just had to pay tribute to it and one of my fave characters from it (don’t let her early form fool you; Penny is one complex character!)
