School Nurse Positions Available
You can join our team of over 1,800 school nurses providing care for more than 1.3 million school children in New York City.
School nurses are critical in supporting the health of students and their families. Services to students include management of chronic health problems, preventive health screenings, urgent care, medication administration and preventive counseling.
Our nurses:
Receive six weeks of paid orientation, including classroom orientation and preceptorship.
Work in schools throughout the five boroughs.
Work five days a week for 10 months a year, as well as optional summer assignments.
