Mezzodaemon and nycadaemon, neutral evil inhabitants of the lower planes Tarterus, Hades, and Gehenna, between the demons of the Abyss and the devils of Hell. Many now refer to the daemons as yugoloths, and these specifically as mezzoloths and nycaloths.
