This audition season has been really hard for me. I’ve never felt better about my dancing or singing, and yet I’ve been getting cut more than ever. I have been crying almost everyday; I feel frustrated and confused. I just want to genuinely say thank you to all of my family, friends, roommates, coworkers, teachers, and especially the kind strangers who are my peers who have been reaching out to me to assure me of my gifts, and to tell me I am on the right path, I just need to stick to it. I have been touched by the kindness of so many fellow performers this season who have talked to me in holding rooms and messaged me here on Instagram even. So long story short, I love this community and I will not give up.
