A very, very simple sketch of @nyctra’s pretty Nykitty that I did this morning. 🥰

Nykitty started as pretty generic brown tabbycat with snowy owl wings. Then her unique traits were the white of her feet and lip. That went from maybe '07 to '08. Her name was Owlwing.
Then she got SUPAH FLUFFEH and big and I had a bad issue with shrunken heads. Her name was Tender, though she was probably still called Nykitty more often than not. '08 to around mid '09.
Shrunken heads continued, and her design changed to reflect a toy my darlin’ friend "Honey kitty" got: it was a black-tailed calico plush. ;3 I was an emotional teenage loser. This was the year she lost her tail. The design warped a little and she got the orange ovals on her left shoulder & hip to signify a couple of my major scars, and the beginnings of her dorsal split started to form. By the end of August '09, it apparently settled on the design I came to love, with only minor tweaks to her facial stripes.
The high-white design lasted 5 years! From August '09 to November 2014. She's now a mix of the original and the calico. She mostly kept the tail and face of the calico. This design is a little over 2 1/2 years old now! :o Though not always shown, she’s had a green collar with NY written on the tag since her very beginning.

Fun fact! Nykitty has a “butterfly” hidden right on her face. The butterflies, often simplified to X’s, symbolize death and souls. Just a bundle of sunshine over here. :)))
