7. I think aliens are hard not to believe in, based on the size and age of the universe. Whether or not they're as people imagine is a different question. There are probably a lot of extraterrestrial microbes out there that meet the definition.

Ghosts...I don't know. I *think* I've had a paranormal experience (it certainly matches a lot of how other folks describe them), but I have no evidence since I was alone, driving, at 4 in the morning. I think it's certainly possible. I also think there are a lot of grifters out there.

5. Game(s) coming out that you’re looking forward to

I'll play any Zelda game they make forever & am excited to see how they follow up Tears of the Kingdom! I hope they bring back the more linear dungeons & puzzles (like they did for Echoes of Wisdom!)

I'm also so excited for the DLC for The Rise of the Golden Idol and the next Detective Grimoire game, The Mermaid Mask! Both coming this year!!

22. A game ending that’s really stuck with you

Ohh this is a good one... I played Chants of Sennaar this year & loved the (true) ending! There's an exciting chase followed by a really cool revelation about all of the languages in the game. If you like linguistics or puzzles, I highly recommend it!

55. Favourite high-effort meal that you make?

I make a really, really good pasta bake. They’re never the exact same, it’s such a great meal to throw in everything you have, but my go tos are always spinach, mushrooms and bacon! Sometimes I’ll add grated carrot and zucchini for sneaky veg :3 I change the sauce I use, but a jar of passata cooked in with the mince is always lovely, especially the one I get from Woolies that comes with Italian herbs already in it. And then I add a crapload of cheese on top, chuck it into a 200°C oven for 30-45 mins. It’s always delicious 🥰 And so easy to change for dietary reasons - gluten free pasta, remove mince and bacon for vegetarians/vegans. And!!! Best part! It’s easy to do a huge batch and have leftovers, including to freeze. Mmm I’m craving pasta bake now yum yum!

56. Favourite low-effort meal that you make?

British-style flat pancakes, which is what I grew up eating. 1 cup (250ml) plain flour, 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, little salt (but I usually leave it out, I don’t think it makes a difference). I fry them up and eat them with butter (which is usually why I skip the salt cause salted butter my beloved mmm) and roll them up and they’re so good I gobble them up while barely chewing as I cook the next one 😁 they’re so easy, and so quick. I actually made some tonight where I took out a table spoon of flour and subbed in cocoa powder. Delicious!
