Karen raised an eyebrow, for some reason or other taking a disliking to the word “autograph” - to her it implied that people wanted written recognition that you met them, but could anyone be that important so much so that you needed written evidence of such? Plus, the changed that a story could incur through word of mouth made it far more intriguing.
"No. I don’t know you." was the simple statement that followed, which in all fairness was pretty close to the truth. She knew of her. The list of things that she didn’t know, opposingly, seemed to span much longer, starting from name, through to age and down to her motives and thoughts. Hyomin knew none of it, and honestly, had no desire to. Though she may have come across as rude, this certainly was not the intention. In fact— there wan’t really any intention at all, simply thinking aloud.
"Oh--", Suji breathes, in a silent mumble. She had taken a step wrongly so early in their meeting, she couldn't help but want to turn away and wish it had never happened. She was far too used at the fact many would picture her features at the mere mention of the name Suzy, or by the simple recognition she had as the youngest of the popular girl group Miss A. Embarrassment dawns her and she purses her lips, cheeks most probably now flaring to match her sheepish expression.
"I apologize, I misunderstood." is all she manages to mumble out. "We haven't met before then, have we?"
He arches an eyebrow, attempting to remember any book with the name. “..Can’t say I have it no.” Standing up he leaves his position behind the counter to move towards the books. “Although I have books on mythical creatures and mermaids are bound to be in it.”
"Ah, I see..." she half-frowns, worrying her lower lip between her teeth. "I've been looking for it for some time but. Could you recommend me one of those books you have? About mythical creatures."

When he opens his eyes, the first thing he smells is a faint, fresh fragrance of summer; flowers, lilacs to be precise. He knows that it's the sweetest of its kind and it's endearing to be intoxicated on it. He presses his nose on the crook of her neck, inhaling her sweet scent before planting a soft kiss on her skin. "Morning. I'll buy donuts in the bakery, okay? Don't miss me."
The ticklish brush of skin to her neck is enough to make her stir from her sleep. A peck to the spot quickly follows and she merely squirms in response, drowsiness still clouding her senses. She hears a low mumble of words, velvety low voice you could graze your fingertips over in the most gentle caress. “Mhm”, is all she answers, smiling to herself and holding her pillow closer to herself, as though to replace his warmth. He’ll be back soon, she knows.
She was struck by the simple truth that sometimes the most ordinary things could be made extraordinary, simply by doing them with the right people.
He watched as she approached him, shrugging lightly. “Most likely but I would need the name of it.” Shutting his book he placed it carefully on the wooden surface, a single blue mark sticking up from the middle or so from it.
She clears her throat, sudden embarrassment evident in her stance.
"'Mermaids and other fantastic creatures', Vol II." she says all too quickly, as though shameful of her choice in her readings. "It's okay if you don't have it."
