Probably Maxil : the timid nature of Nyssa about it can made the revelation of love difficult for her, especially for the man who are shoot the Doctor and want to kill him during the Omega event. More logical Maxil confess first.

What Keeper of Traken Says To Me
I will never never like Kassia - she was more villainous than the Master and we never saw her act with Nyssa in mind which proves that if the Doctor had not have shown up Nyssa probably would have got packed off in marriage as soon as Kassia could just to keep Tremas all to herself, her actions proves to me that she never truly loved Tremas - her heart always belonged to the Melkur - Tremas should have just been content with his daughter!

when I started shipping it if I did:
Don’t ship. I’m curious about how the development of the ship could lead (I have a huge respect about the NOTP I have, because ship whore, so probably maybe…). Honestly, I ship more Five/Master than Master/Nyssa.
my thoughts:
It’s a good character development for both of them honestly. After all, the relation inside the serial between these two was almost unexploited (at the limit, on Castrovalva, Nyssa stands up to the Master; after on Time-flight, the part of the Nyssa/Master is pretty low, mostly inside Doctor vs Master). So, that give them justice for a another development. A emotionnal Master take advantage of his body for somewhere ‘stealing’ one of the companion of the Doctor, create very ironically a real reason for a feud between them (I don’t imagine the Doctor, even on the serial if that thing happens staying passive…on the contrary), and show a part of his personnality very imply and showed very little. And for Nyssa, that give her the occassion to confront the new person who take over his father, like a shadow of Tremas she know she will never come back. Inside Winter, we know old!Nyssa had dream about the Master so, that imply somehow Nyssa can’t forget her father :o
What makes me happy about them:
Myself, I happy about anything about them but I could imagine the ‘happiness’ they could found for both of them. Nyssa could become ‘officially’ a princess again, somewhere to settle without the Doctor where she could help people. She could hope have hints about Tremas inside the behavior of the Master (but how she could forget he was because of his fault and of the Doctor Traken disappeared?). For the Master, I suppose have emotionally the power towards the Doctor, using Nyssa for it will please him a lot.
What makes me sad about them:
I’m mostly really totally sad about the Doctor inside this ship : he is totally push away, and inside a situation of despair. I mean, the Doctor wasn’t happy at all to find again the Master on his way (and he have reasons for it, like the post-regeneration) and Nyssa is inside his responsability. The Doctor save Nyssa after all these tragedies. So, inside this ship, it’s the Master trying to save more Nyssa than the Doctor. And I can’t imagine the life of Nyssa easy with the behavior of the Master. That will create argue with the Doctor for sure, true hate between the Doctor and the Master (with implies romantic feelings of the Doctor or not, that didn’t really change something). So, poinf of view totally of the Doctor, everything is sad. Point of view of Nyssa, it’s also sad : she fall in love with the murderer of her father after all. For the Master, I don’t think everything will be happy for him, in the fact, all the things about his relation with the Doctor will be become very complicated. Making the things more sad.
things done in fanfic that annoys me:
I didn’t really read a lot of fanfic between them (mostly your fanfics for have a huge idea about the ship :o // I mostly read Five/Master and staying O.O for what I read honestly so // ) and nothing really annoy me. The thing could annoy me it’s the under-treatment emotionnal : the Master wasn’t totally a bastard, and Nyssa is capable for a lot of things becoming mature.
things I look for in fanfic:
Angst, drama and clever fluff (like a good-idea I had read from you :p) with the subject of the Doctor didn’t forget. Like Nyssa was fooled by one plan of the Master, the ambiguous relationship is created and when the Doctor arrives panicked while to find her, it explodes in a flood of emotions and character development. Or, without knowing Nyssa wasn’t inside the TARDIS with the Doctor, a serious discussion between the Doctor and the Master, with trigger ‘emotionnal abuse’ could be seen inside this situation.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
The Master, at the limit, the Doctor or alone, I can’t really choose. I mostly comfortable with the Master alone honestly, but trying to have a better relationship with the Doctor. For Nyssa, it’s Five/Nyssa 8D
My happily ever after for them:
The perfect compromise : three couples, with the Doctor between, loved by the Master, loved by Nyssa; the Doctor love Nyssa, the Master love Nyssa, and they trying to deal with all the emotionnal issues about that compromise.
who is the big spoon/little spoon:
Hmmm…propably both could be big spoon : because I can imagine a affective Master, and if Nyssa is fooled, she can become mostly affective. Nyssa will be the little spoon in general, with the emotionnals issues in front of the Master since him will show he really care about Nyssa.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity:
I guess reading or in a laboratory to prepare a specific project. I think that mostly about the favorite activities of Nyssa, where the Master will try to ‘adding himself on it’ for discuss. I am somewhat ‘uniform’ on that side

my thoughts:It is kinda cute, but also kinda creepy, because this is the master and everything he does is creepy, even if it’s just begging for ice cream on his son’s behalf!
What makes me happy about them:I don’t know really, I guess it’s just the fact that there’s no set thing for them, we’re just at liberty to create what we want.
What makes me sad about them:The Master doesn’t stay with Nyssa all the time, he goes off exploring, and it’s not fair.

How I feel about this character: Nyssa is…well, I’m not sure, I like her, but I haven’t seen enough of her episodes to say that much, I’ve only seen Black Orchid and Mawdryn Undead, oh and Castrovalva.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Tegan, The Master (Ainley) and well, Five occasionally. And Turlough. Oh, and Adric, definitely Adric.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Five/Nyssa
My unpopular opinion about this character: *helpless shrugging*
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:More interactions with the Master and more chance to show off her mad science skills.

Nyssa, though surprisingly, the Master knows a lot more Earth movies than Nyssa does.
