His set had finished fifteen minutes before and that was exactly how long it had taken Hayden to wade through the crowd of cheering people towards the black curtain that marked the entrance to backstage. It had been forty-five minutes of pure bliss for her, especially his cover of The Weeknd, and she was more than excited to tell him that and boast about the photos she’d taken with the camera now dangling around her neck. “’scuse me.” She mumbled to some unknown figure in her way as she pushed through the curtain until she found a makeshift sign with his band’s name on it. Hayden let a coy smile rest on her face as she stood inside the secondary curtain- an obvious green room setup for all the bands preparing to go on stage. She spotted him immediately, walking up behind him while her fingers fidgeted together. “How about that autograph now?”
