No Wine No Life A joint tasting exhibition of 11 importers @ Andaz Tokyo 本日7月5日、少しずつ開催が復活してきたリアル試飲会に行ってきました。会場は虎ノ門ヒルズのアンダーズ東京52Fルーフトップ&スタジオというお洒落プレイス。感染対策から入場時間を1時間毎の登録制にしていましたが、11社合同ということもあり、大盛況。 さて、そのうちの2社をピックアップ。まずは米国NYワイン輸入の先駆者であるGO-TO WINE。今年4月にNYワインのイベントを協業させていただきましたが、どのワインもピュア、繊細でバランス良く素晴らしい！和食に合いそうなカベルネ・フランが特におすすめです。 そして、もう一社は今年起業したばかりのplus wine。スロバキアワイン専門で、代表の大野さんはスロバキアワインアンバサダー。 ワインはというと、ソーヴィニヨンやリースリングといった国際品種ものと、いろいろなスロバキア固有品種のもの。白ワインは綺麗な酸味、フレッシュフルーツを感じさせる爽やか味わいが主流。赤ワインは、タンニンが繊細で、洗練された優しいワインが多いので、食事との汎用性が高そう。なんといっても、デイリータイプが千円台というコスパが優秀！ やはりリアルな試飲会は、新しいワインの発見、懐かしい出会い、参加の満足感ありでした！ #NoWineNoLife #GO-TOWine #NYWine #pluswine #SlovakWine #ワイン試飲会 https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ8Y0Sar6Sy/?utm_medium=tumblr

New York Wine &Grape Foundation 主催テイスティングセミナー@ホテルモントレ銀座 2021年4月5日、NY Wine & Grape Foundation 主催テイスティングセミナーの運営を弊社にてさせていただきました。 セミナーのテーマは、セッション1が“NYワインの最新トレンド”、セッション2が”NY州最大のワイン産地フィンガーレイクスを深堀“。 セミナー冒頭、アメリカ大使館農産物貿易事務所の青木氏ご挨拶に始まり、日本におけるNYワイン輸入の第一人者であるGo-To Wine の後藤氏によるNY ワインの概要レクチャー。そして、森覚氏(コンラッド東京エグゼクティブソムリエ)によるテイスティングレクチャーと続きました。なんと森氏がソムリエ協会以外でセミナー講師をするのは8年ぶり！とのこと。 今回のセミナーは、コロナ禍のため、セッション毎に15人の参加人数に限定しての開催となりましたが、NY州の今を表現した秀逸なワインと、素晴らしいテイスティングコメントでしたので、もっと多くの方にご参加いただきたかったです。テイスティングレクチャーについては、近日中にビデオをアップしますので、是非ご覧ください！ #NYwine #NYWine&GrapeFoundation #Go-ToWine #森覚ソムリエ #お洒落なワイン #NYに行った気分 https://www.instagram.com/p/CNmcVAZpDll/?igshid=1n4n3373qgy4e

Boundary Breaks 2016 Ovid Line North Riesling: Medium-dry, fresh, balanced [citrusy] acidity; showing bright stone fruit and ripe yellow-fleshed fruit flavors with a dash of mineral on the finish. Irresistibly gulpable; this wine was a good garden companion and paired nicely with my spicy garlic shrimp lunch.
