Call Me By Your Name was beautiful and lovely and had far more moments of mirth than I expected.
The peach scene was fucking hilarious.
Totally worth seeing in the theatre.

There's a Fashion Friday post on the teen blog about the fashion at the New Zealand International Film Festival. Above is my pick Dior and I by Frédéric Tcheng.

It's New Zealand International Film Festival Time!
So it's the aforementioned Film Festival in Kiwistan this year and I thought I better get in on this action as I'm a) From a nation without cinema and b) Going back there probably this year.
Here's the list of movies I'm seeing:
North By Northwest (Digitally Restored version)
Dial M for Murder (in original 3D)
A Touch of Sin
Persistence of Vision
Who Will Be A Ghurkha
Omar
Computer Chess
The Gatekeepers
The Best Offer
The Rocket
Heli
The Bling Ring
Animation Now (A collection of Animated Shorts)
Dirty Wars
A Hijacking
Utu Redux
The Gilded Cage
The Act of Killing
Museum Hours
The Captain and His Pirate
Like Father Like Son
Don't be discouraged if you know nothing about these films, they're pretty indie *hipster glasses*
21 movies in 13 days....I think I can do it.
That being said...would anyone like short reviews of these films after I view them? I have the time to burn.....
