“ you missed me that much, huh? ” her fingers playfully pinch at one of his cheeks, retreating only to assist in tying up her tousled hair. it had been a long, arduous night and she was only just now getting back. heels in hand, ikrienia waves him inside. her home is relatively normal, small yet cozy — warm like brown sugar and soft like cashmere. “ well, since you’re already here … sit down — we can talk, I’ll tell you about my day. ”

disappearing into a back room for a moment, ikrie sheds her dirtied clothing and slips into something more comfortable. “ I just have the worst luck, ” she begins what is sure to be dramatic tale, “ I didn’t call because I dropped my phone and the screen shattered into a billion pieces! ” returning with the charred electronic in hand, she frowns as she settles in next to him. it’s obvious that her phone been through a bit more than a simple slip of the hand, but he doesn’t need to know that she spent her afternoon chasing down a literal devil. “ look — it’s ruined. ” :(
