hi guys, apologies for the radio silence! just an update: I’ve been doing really well. I’m spending a lot of time with my boyfriend getting back into the swing of video games and TV shows we’ve missed out on. I haven’t had much muse recently tbh and feel like my writing has been lackluster so I’m taking a break until I’m feeling up to it again! ask for my discord if you would like to keep in close contact. ✌️❤️

I feel like … it may be time to make a multi actually? I have so many ideas and would be able to add all my old muses (cough d’vora) so … I may go silent for a while to work on that! I like the flexibility of being able to add OCs at the drop of a hat ;)

“ don’t be stubborn, crystal, ” the sorceress huffs, extending her clawed fingers as if to ask for the woman’s arm, “ let me see it at least. ” depending on which beast had left this trinity of jagged entrance wounds, she might need treatment ... worst case, an antidote, all of which they had in steady supply. “ what sort of creature did this? ” ikrienia asks, turning the girls arm gently to either side in examination ... the wounds aren’t festering, don’t appear to be leaking poison, or causing any swelling. “ ... some of the beasts that dwell in the wastes can be quite poisonous. ”

stopping  by  the  local  dinner  &  striking  up  a  conversation  with  a  stranger  who  happened  to  sit  right  beside  her  at  the  counter  is,   in  all  honesty,   a  very  hana  thing  to  do.   but  truth  be  told  she  is  enjoying  the  other’s  company  &  witful  banter,   laughter  easily  flowing  from  her  curled  lips  as  she  listens  to  her  speak  about  whatever  comes  to  mind.

❝   eh,   did  you  not  think  of  me  as  a  friend  this  whole  time  ?   ❞     she  pouts,   a  hand  clutching  her  chest  in  feign  hurt  before  a  smirk  breaks  across  her  face.       ❝   i’m  feeling  quite  generous  today  so  i  shall  agree.   you  can’t  back  out,   though.   once  i’m  in  your  life  it’s  not  that  easy  to  get  rid  of  me.❞    

“ oh, you must forgive me, ” ikrienia laughs, her voice soft like velvet, “ but I’m afraid we’re very much the same in that regard. ” making friends was one thing, getting rid of them was another entirely. oftentimes the huntress would disappear for weeks, months, years; yet her arrival at the doorstep of an old friend was always as if no time had passed at all. ikrienia and hana seem to share a similar quality, one that draws others in: they listen. perhaps ikrie talks a bit too much for this to be a redeeming quality, but it’s one that people seem to appreciate nonetheless. 

“ now then, hana, I’m dying to know where you got this jacket! ” fingers pinch the sleeve of the aforementioned garment, giving it a soft tug for emphasis. “ it looks just perfect for cold weather. ”

                  IRKSOME AS USUAL.     atlas frowns at the smile etched across her expression;  all  too  familiar  with  that  attitude.    it was almost amusingly ironic how the being that stood before him is the protector of the kind that she hunted   —    he was unfortunately an old ‘victim’ of her former shenanigans.   atlas remains composed, knowing that the reason he stands here is for BUSINESS purposes only.    he crosses his arms behind his back, nodding to her with silent but cold eyes.    “  …. yes.  i have a meeting with him today.  but i see that he appears to be busy at this time ?  ”

“ he was called away for an urgent matter, I’m afraid. ” accompanied by the high guard to a nearby city for a diplomatic hearing. ikrienia was left behind to tend to whatever affairs were pushed to the wayside, including this meeting. she settles into the plush velvet of one of the tea room couches and crosses one leg over her knee. there is little hope for repairing their personal relationship in her opinion (once you’ve tried to kill someone there is hardly ever any room to recover, this much she knows), but if his impression is to be believed this is strictly a business procedure. “ I’m afraid he left me in his stead. any business you had with him ... you now have with me. ”

she taps her index finger to her closed lips, reaching out to get a quick, gentle feel. she figures she’ll get her lay of the land soon, should they come to an agreement. 

❝ if i can’t fix it, would you be opposed to me making some alterations? i can keep it as close as possible, but i’ll probably need to find a similar fabric to hem parts that i can’t just sew back together. it doesn’t always work that way, i’m afraid. or … i can make something new out of entirely. that’s really only if i can’t salvage what’s here. if you had a picture of it from before, i could probably get it a little closer to the original. hm. what do you say? do any of those sound agreeable?? ❞  

“ you’re certainly prepared, ” ikrienia hums, a soft smile working its way over her countenance, she runs gloved fingers over the garment in thought. had she any pictures? perhaps there was one of her mother, but it would be troublingly old at this point ... likely more tattered than the dress itself. “ to see it repaired in any form would be marvelous, even if it’s not the original, ” the slayer says, finally, pondering the question further, “ I can bring you some old family photos if that would help, perhaps we can look over them together. ”

          “ whoooaaa!! that was way cool!! how did you do that!? ” though he still keeps a good distance away from the scene, it’s obvious that the excitement in his eyes comes from what just transpired. like a moth to the flame eritai creeps forward, but a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach tells him that there is more to these events than just what he sees. @drakonica​ !!

“ wait, ” an arm raises, halting her excited companion before he can venture any further toward danger, “ until the smoke clears, we stay back. ” a rule of the trade, none should venture into the fog without first knowing that their prey isn’t sitting there slack jawed and ready to pounce. when finally the dust clears, a banshee lies smoldering in the center what was previously a flaming vortex, summoned by the dragonslayer. “ tag along for long enough and maybe I’ll teach you, ” grinning, the bounty hunter snatches a strand of silver off the monster’s ashen form and turns to declare, “ mission accomplished. lets head back to the inn and have a meal to celebrate. ”
