So, many tfa stories like to address that there's a high chance the Well never stopped producing warframe/warframe sparks. So, what did the autobots do about this?

Why, forcibly split it so it can fit a normal civilian frame, of course!

Warframe sparks are naturally meant for larger frames, hence the need to 'split' the spark into more frames, kinda like a normal split spark, except split spark happen naturally and this is forced, so same premise, wildly different out come. Split sparks are still referred to as such, but the broken sparks are referred to as 'spark-pieces' (civilian sparks live as civilians / normal autobots, warframe sparks are put into the academy to become military)

Anyways, Primus knows the sparks are being ripped apart, so to ensure the spark can return to its other half (or thirds, if it's particularly large) bots from the same spark come online with a special phrase their spark piece will one day tell them.

Of course nothing can be easy, this phrase is what the bot will tell their spark piece when they hate them the most. After all, if they reached that low, the only way left to go is up. If the spark pieces get along, then this probably won't be anything too serious, but if they hold a lot of resentment towards each other then...

Because the spark longs to be whole again, the bots don't actually need to hear the phrase, their spark piece will naturally resonate and draw the bot to their spark piece(s). Still, being able to hear the phrase out loud, said to them by their spark piece is both a reassurance and a damnation because this other bot is your other half, you can't have one without the other, and they despise you so much that this moment has been immortalized on your frame.

(also i should clarify warframes and other civilians aren't spark pieces and thus don't have these spark phrases, only those bots who's spark used to belong to a warframe that has since been broken down but feel free to apply the idea elsewhere mostly bc i haven't seen this soulmate au done yet and there can never be too many soulmate stories)
