CB&Q 2-8-2 Class O-4 5512 by Chuck Zeiler Via Flickr: Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-8-2 Class O-4 5512, date, location, and photographer unknown, print by Don Gruber, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 55012 was built to USRA design by Baldwin in March 1919 (c/n 51619), sold for scrap in February 1954. According to the CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet dated February 1, 1952, number 5512 was assigned to the Alliance Division. Note the shadow of our photographer in the lower right of the frame. Some day I will have to figure out how the Elesco Feedwater system worked.
