Major s4 spoilers below -first 10 min. screened at NYCC!
The panel ended with the first 10 minutes of Season 4 being screened, and they were incredibly compelling. [Spoilers follow].
We see Flint leading an attack on the Nassau fort, only to grow concerned by the lack of weapons ready to greet them. As it turns out, a trap has been set for them – debris from sunken ships under the water first block Flint’s boats, and then when they turn to avoid it, hidden British soldiers reveal themselves, firing on the now vulnerable ships. At first Flint orders his men to fire back, but he realizes it’s a lost cause and has everyone abandon ship. The merciless British soldiers shoot and kill many men as they try to board the lifeboats – and Silver is knocked off a ladder, falling into the water below. On one of the lifeboats, Madi screams, fearing the worst, and Flint looks concerned too, but when Silver doesn’t surface, he has everyone continue to flee. Meanwhile, in another ship far back from the attack, Rackham and Teach consider turning and fleeing themselves – giving the soldiers a large target to pursue that hopefully can help their allies escape. But Anne Bonny asks what happens if no one goes after their ship?
