I love this blog, it's like a real human runs it?
if Turing test = Pass:
Run ('WorldDominationSetup.exe.')
While we’re still talking about tattoos, I want to shout out to @detectivejoan for pointing out that Oakpodcast pulled a Chet’s Eyepatch with Holly that ended up being a plot point
OAK: To Holly! The best robot—
HOLLY: Not a robot.
OAK: Girl!
HOLLY: Not a girl.
OAK: And straight up hottie!
HOLLY: I am attractive, yes.
Oakpodcast Casting Call
Wanted: Black man, age 30s to 60s. Please don’t audition if you’re younger than 25 or so! You’d be playing a spy/soldier type character, but not a super typical one. It’s complicated, so just be yourself. The part commitment is flexible and can range from a couple of lines to a larger role.
Please record 30-60 minutes of you introducing yourself/your experience/whatever you want to say, then roughly the same length of time reading something (a couple of paragraphs, your choice of text). Please use the mic you plan to record with if possible—quality is not paramount, and we can work around a lot, but it would help to know what you’ve got. Send your mp3 file to oakpodcast at gmail.com. You can send questions there too if you have any.
Thanks!
oakpodcast has killed me and now I can’t listen to any break up songs
There’s a good chance I may have committed some light treason.

Hi! I saw your post wanting recommendations for podcasts to review, and I was going to suggest Oakpodcast! They mentioned in their last ep they randomly got some 1 star reviews, but the reviews didn’t leave any feedback as to why they disliked it. Maybe your followers who listen could leave helpful reviews?
Oh geez. That’s never fun. :(
Thanks for the suggestion!
If anyone else has one, pop it in our ask, or the audiodramaadvent tag! I know there are a ton of podcasts we don’t listen to, and a ton of smaller not super well known shows who could use some encouragement. 💜
