THE PLAY WITHOUT THE SCRIPT:

Similar to Rachel Berry, Tina has been on Broadway since she was a child. Though she didn't make the same waves, she did leave a bit of a mark on Broadway. Through out most of her childhood, she mainly focused on school and other extracurriculars thanks to her parents. While they knew she had talent, they were constantly encouraging her to have a back up plan just in case acting didn't work out. Eventually, she secured a lead role in an up and coming musical called Paradise City. Paradise City was the talk of the town for what seemed like ages.  And Tina was on cloud nine knowing if Paradise City was a success, she'd be guaranteed a Tony nomination. After coming in for rehearsals one day, Tina learned that the production had dissolved. The funds for it had been gained illegally and Tina found herself back at square one. That never stopped her though. She kept trying and pushing and pushing until she found something. But, everything she auditioned for and got seemed to fall to a similar fate. Either it was shut down, didn't have enough money, simply didn't gain enough positive reviews or never went past the beginning stages, Tina never saw herself hitting the stages of one of the many theatres lining Broadway. Fed up, she nearly quit. That was until her agent mentioned auditioning for Electra Heart. It was a long shot. She knew it. Her original intentions were to go for Nina Diamond but at last minute, right before the auditions, Tina decided to read for the part of Charis Vega. It may not have been Nina but it was a part. A bigger part than the other four available and that was at least worth something. However, when the team responded with indifference as she finished her reading, she was sure she had just bombed it. She left confused, wondering where the heck she went wrong. Just as she was about to officially call it quits, she got a call from Brody. Tina was ecstatic and had made every effort to ensure that everything goes smoothly with Electra Heart. While she enjoys her cast mates, she doesn't enjoy the obvious drama going on. Tina doesn't want Electra Heart to end like all her other projects did. If the others don't shapen up, however, it just might. But if it's up to Tina, she won't let that happen. She can't let that happen.

THE PLAY WITHOUT THE SCRIPT:

If you're a fan of 90s sitcoms, then the name Quinn Fabray should be a familiar one. Back in her childhood days, Quinn had a role on the hit sitcom, Just The Twelve Of Us, as the youngest child. It intially had a good start, being one of the highest rated shows on ABC's TGIF line up. During the second season, however, ratings went down.  After a three season run, the sitcom was cancelled and Quinn decided to retire from acting. Well, actually her parents decided for her but Quinn was happy with the decision. She decided to focus on her education and live a normal childhood. On a whim, she decided to attend a prestigious college in New York, taking up acting as a major. It had always been her plan to return to acting one day but she found it hard to find the same opportunities as she did when she was a child. During her search, she met and fell in love with Mike Chang. He was far from her type and Quinn knew that, but she took a chance anyway. It wasn't until Mike proposed that she started to second guess their relationship. They barely knew each other and marriage was a huge step.  Did she even really love Mike? And what would her parents say? Still, she found her brain screaming no but her mouth uttered the word yes in response. So, they had a small ceremony and exchanged vows. But, as always, all good things come to an end. When both of their schedules became crazy busy, Quinn found herself frustrated with Mike and Mike, with her. Either they never spent time together or when they did, it was like they were weighing each other down. Eventually, they found the only thing keeping them together was the legal system. Quinn was the one who brought up the suggestion of a divorce first. Surprised when Mike agreed to sever ties. Putting the past behind her, she decided to audition for theatre. It was something new and provided a change from all television auditions she had been doing. Quinn never expected a lead role, but a minor role as an important character to the main? That was surprising as well. Everything would have been perfect if Mike Chang didn't show up to choreograph the entire show. Anyone in the rehearsal space could tell something was off. Honestly, if Mike hadn't quit first: Quinn would have.  The tension was too much to take. Though she's glad that she didn't have to quit her first job in years, she feels a bit guilty about Mike having to do so but thinking about her soon to be ex-husband isn't moving forward. It's looking back and that's the last thing Quinn wants to do.

THE PLAY WITHOUT THE SCRIPT:

Risk taker. That's what Mike Chang had been for most of his life. Always taking risks and refusing to settle for less. Coerced into med school by his parents, he felt unsatisfied with the practice. Sure it offered him security and a job that guaranteed him wealth straight out of college but he wasn't happy doing it. He didn't think he ever would be. So, during his third year, he said "deuces" and dropped out. Chasing what he knew would really make him happy. Yeah, his parents were pretty pissed they had wasted so much money on his education, but with the promise of paying them every cent back when he made it, they gave him their support. Theatre definitely wasn't something he wanted to pursue. In fact, his original plan was to move out to the west coast and try his hand at choreographing music videos for pop stars. However, during his time in New York, he met Quinn Fabray. To say he fell in love instantly was an understatement. Their dating period was short. Four or five months at most, but Mike was positive he had found the girl for him. The beginning was bliss; getting married in a small chapel with only two other friends attending. Life was good. Mike landed a few ensemble roles and even choreographed an off-Broadway production. Overnight, it seemed, everything turned for the worst. They argued constantly. Either she wasn't seeing him enough or he wasn't seeing her at all. Then, it hit him. Hit them both, actually. Neither of them were happy. Obviously they had jumped into marriage too soon. So, there was only one option: Divorce. With his divorce in the works, he landed a dream job. The choreographer for a big budget production. He was more than ecstatic to be working on Electra Heart but when he found out that Quinn was also to be working on the production, he just couldn't do it. The first few rehearsals went fine but the tension only grew from there. There was already enough pressure coming from the members of the crew, he didn't want to be another addition. So when some of the other cast mates left and found work elsewhere, he followed. Earning the position of  choreographer of Miami Beat. It may not be buzzing as much as Electra Heart, but it's a job. A job that's paying well and Mike is taking every step to move on with his life. Not look back or relive any past memories.

THE PLAY WITHOUT THE SCRIPT:

He's been in the business for as long as he can remember. Part of him thinks he walked out of his mother's womb performing. Seems highly unlikely, but watching Brody Weston perform might make you think otherwise. Brody has been a name known around the theatre circuit for years now. He's been blessed to be part of Broadway's greatest productions and win two Tony's all before the age of thirty. That's not the only thing Weston is known for though. Apart from being a total babe, he's also a bit of a Lothario. He's given Christian Borle a run for his money with his Casanova tendencies, dating some of the most beautiful Broadway stars. Marriage has always been in the mouths of thespian gossip, but he can never seem to commit. There could be more to it; but Brody isn't willing to let anyone in on his feelings. At least not for now. His publicist, however, feels the notorious playboy look is starting to get old. He's no longer the young male in his early twenties and that he should be trying to create a more mature image. Brody, however, isn't quite ready to give up his bachelorhood just yet. So, instead of auditioning for another heartthrob role or high school hunk, he went a different route. When good friend Cassandra July needed someone to help her vision come true, she called Brody. Brody, had only little knowledge of directing. He had only put his hands in the dirty work of it once or twice during his early career for a few off, off, off, off Broadway shows. Still, Cassandra was confident he could do it and succeed. The acting bug was still biting at him though and it just so happens that none of the actors who auditioned for the role of Eli fit the role. There was his chance. But could he really direct and star in this production? It's a lot of pressure but Brody prefers working under those conditions. And if he's lucky, he could snag a Tony for Best Actor and Director if this goes off without a hitch.
