Was feeling a little low. But after wandering to the mailbox, I stayed outside for a bit longer since the weather is nice and cool and really breezy today. It actually helped (pleasantly surprised), and I got some nice pictures from around the yard.
So...
Watching the yeast bloom. Exquisite.
It's such a simple thing, yet it's always one of the highlights of bread making.

I needed to figure out how to do certain things on Audacity for podcast stuff. So I figured, might as well make it interesting. Cue an impromptu shanty chorus.
Apologies if it's a little rough. (Not warmed up, and my mum was sleeping). But I think I like the result anyway.
A surprise mushroom! For some reason, it was already detached, just sitting there. Interesting... Special guest: one of our outdoor kitties.
