break up

So my boyfriend and I broke up today after 3 months. The funny part is that I’m not even upset just somewhat relieved. We got into an argument last night over Valentine’s Day plans. He wanted to do dinner, movie, and a hotel room. I was cool with the plans until hotel room. I’ve only known this guy since October and I might sound old fashioned or whatever but I’m not going to spend the night with you and we only spend a few hours once a week together due to our schedules. Am I wrong?

Long story short he blew the situation out of proportion and and said I wasn’t compromising and didn’t want to be intimate with him. It’s not that. Just wasn’t ready for all that at this stage in the game. Guess his dick couldn’t wait. At least I didn’t have to waste my $ on a gift. Deuces!✌️

Things I have to get used to now that I have a boyfriend:

Compliments (I secretly feel like he's always lying)

Him holding doors for me 

Him buying me things

Affection (this is the biggest adjustment for me. I'm not used to being touched so I shy away from it which I've told him I have to adjust to)

Being cared for

Being a priority in someone's life.
