Alison Hendrix is hilarious; she really chokes me up. When I saw how beautiful Beth Childs was, it was like being hit by a train. Katja is mind-blowingly amazing. Sarah Manning makes my eyes hurt because she's so gorgeous. Cosima Niehaus smile is so bright, it will put your eyes out. Helena is so adorable that she warms my heart, like a fire burns a house. it is season three. we open with a shot of a flickering screen…a television, perhaps? we zoom out slightly to reveal that it is the wall of Rachel's black box room. the screen flickers a few more times before a familiar video of Cosima and Kira begins to play...
"Okay, Kira." Cosima says. "Now draw a fire extinguisher there. Yep…that's good. Okay, and now a pencil there…perfect…ooh, and make sure we put Rachel right next to that fire extinguisher, okay?"
Kira nods and continues to draw as she's instructed. Zoom out further to see Rachel seated before the screen, shaking in...anger? frustration?
close-up on her face. she is strangely serene. she rolls her eye, trying not to betray her embarrassment to the empty room. she should have seen this coming.
"ah, well." she thinks. "hindsight is 20/20"
