okay, it’s been almost two years, can we acknowledge that the fire extinguisher was the stupidest plan in the world? i mean, even assuming that the fire extinguisher somehow manages to propel a pencil through the air and take someone out…a. sarah has to notice the fire extinguisher b. sarah has to get her hand on the fire extinguisher c. sarah has to…aim…the fire extinguisher?! d. sarah has to escape, having injured precisely One person

…which means, of course, that the fact that this plan worked is just hilarious. rachel duncan, destroyed by her own hubris and the fact that she just HAD to be alone in the room with sarah for her evil villain monologue, she just HAD to get close enough to gloat. what a STUPID STUPID PLAN THAT TOOK RACHEL DUNCAN RIGHT THE HECK DOWN, I LOVE IT

wait wait wait i forgot that they told sarah about this plan by having kira draw a fire extinguisher. they were GAMBLING on rachel’s hubris. rachel walked RIGHT INTO THIS because she had to gloat. she just had to. she didn’t even stop to wonder why the hell kira drew a fire extinguisher. she was just like: perfect. this is the best thing to ruin my nemesis. this child’s drawing. of a fire extinguisher. that i will place on top of this fire extinguisher, that has a skull and crossbones drawn on it

I feel like the whole thing would’ve been very clinical. Every aspect of her life totally controlled for one, singular purpose. She would’ve been raised without any emotional attachment, so that she could be the perfect like corporate leader, totally able to make decisions based solely on strategic advantage.
