ok i’m sorry but nowhere near enough people are talking about how fucking amazing the broadway version of wait for me is. we already knew how amazing the new ending was and how it matched wait for me ii from the promos, but the part echoing the epics in the middle?? JESUS CHRIST.
that part is so, so beautiful, and it just has so many layers!! reeve carney’s voice really is otherworldly. if that’s the kind of sound mixing that’s taking them until july 26, i will happily sit and wait until that day doing nothing but listening to wait for me until then. thanks for coming to my ted talk
