last night i walked intoxicated past buildings that were built in 1500 and 12something even. in this city i walk on hard cobblestone that mades me wonder how long it took to lay out, every street in perfect formation, stone by stone by stone.
all of the city center is like this but oberlinden especially. oberlinden was named after a tree and the main street, salzstrasse, for the salt trade that was routed through freiburg.
