What was the hardest piece of doll clothing you’ve made so far?
It always feels like your current project is your hardest. But then you get better.
In recent memory? My Lolita Stede outfit.
Specifically the pants. In terms of mental pain drafting that pattern was the worst. Pants in general are a real challenge for me. And the silky fabric was not forgiving at all.
The rest of the look was fun though. I even hand sewed wire into the ribbons and edges of the jacket so they could do some cool fake fluttering.
