Another oc from my ongoing project: “The Home of All Unusual Creatures.”

Also from my artfight! Similar to my other oc Pickles, she was also created rather last minute to create an even number of ocs. (I’m just fussy like that lol)
Expanding on the lore, Karene is also a “patron” (someone who donates thus contributing to the Home in exchange for occasional performances done by Home inhabitants) but only if you count the nickels and occasional quarters as valuable donations. She’s a cocky 12-year-old with an unsurprisingly foul mouth. However due to her age, people just see her as the “brat girl” that shows up to cause some petty drama from time to time. In reality, Karene is just lonely and doesn’t really know how to express her feelings too well.
She does eventually become friends with Peko, who never took any offense towards her words and sometimes participates Karene’s pranks together. She also eventually looks towards Pickles as a mentor figure. Both help her become a better person.

Reflections on model:
It was definitely one of the easier ones to model and didn’t take me too long since the character app didn’t require too many details. However I did struggle a bit with the UV rigging as it has been some time since I last dabbled in anything driver related. Few Google and YouTube searches helped though!
